First time in this place, ambiance was cozy and with great Italian music! The food on the menu it's authentic Italian food and... the waiter was really nice! The water view it's a strip of water between Davenport Park and Pelham road! The food was terrible,similar to authentic but not done right! We had pizza which was turning back to dough while you were chewing! Mussels which weresmelling like a low tide in your plate and not properly cleaned and cooked! We were afraid to get sick so we just left it there.We also had pizzaiola and the sauce on top looked like it was taken straight out of the can and dumped on it! Read more
Got there around noon, nobody around except cook. But we were treated well by him and owner showed up a few minutes after. ... Turned out 2 of his workers called that they couldn't show up (???) I’ve had two meals here and both were terrible. First time I came here I order the fish. The smell was terrible and the taste... matched. Second time I came I thought I would give it another chance. I ordered pesto gnocchi. To say the least I wasdisappointed again. The worst gnocchi and pesto I e ever tasted. RATS AND MICE. I took my mother to this restaurant for dinner, one evening on a weekend in July 2022. The restaurant was... basically empty, and there were maybe three other tables with the guests. It took a very long time to get our order delivered tothe table, and the food was not good at all. Not only did the food not taste very good, but it was cold. While I was sittingthere, trying to enjoy the meal with my mother, I noticed how dirty and grimy the rest of the restaurant was. There was dirt allover the floors, the table cloths had stains all over them, and it didn't look like the walls had been cleaned in months andmonths. Next, I noticed a mouse run across the room near the pizza oven by the bar. I let the waiter know, and he simply told methat, "yes, we have a problem with mice". They never said anything again or apologized about the mouse, and I noticed that therewere rats outside as well. They made no attempt to try and write the wrong. They didn't offer to discount the meal or comp oneof the appetizers. I emailed the owner and never heard a response. This place is absolutely disgusting. Save your money, don'tgo. I feel bad giving a bad review because the server was so nice and the restaurant has a nice ambiance. However my margarita pizza... was terrible. It had a weird smell (like feet or moldy cheese) and tasted terrible. I ended up not eating it. Perhaps I got abad one? I assume the pasta dishes are much better. Read more
The food was pretty good. We enjoyed several appetizers. The stuffed mushrooms with a creamy brandy sauce was delicious.... Eggplant rollatini and broccoli flowers were scrumptious. Try the chocolate mousse cake as it was decadent! We would definitelygive this place another try when we're in the area! Read more
Food is really old school Italian authentic, really nice and clean, service was great, food was great. The only thing that... annoyed us was that they charge you to use your credit card. I would have liked them to give us an option, normally I don'tcarry cash, but if I would've known I would've paid cash. why should I have to pay to use my credit card. Read more
I love this restaurant. I have dined here 18 times in the last 5 years. The service is always fast and friendly. The food is... delicious. My favorite meal is the Lasagna. I also really love their meatballs. My dad loves their Veal Parmesan. Their pizza isAMAZING! Highly Recommend! Read more
