Stopped by for a bite before hopping on the ferry, service was on point, seated within minutes, drinks within 5, everything we... had was great, had the prosciutto and fig pizza and it was simply amazing, one of the best pies I have ever had. This pub is located on Block Island Rhode Island. Most of the restaurants there are very expensive but this is a reasonable... priced pub without sacrificing great tasting food. I had a carved smoke turkey wrap with I swear a half pound of bacon on it!!!Absolutely delicious food!! Our water glasses never got empty. Very nice staff. We were in the island 4 days and ended up eating here 3 times. We were very impressed by the food quantity, quality, and... quickness. The lobster roll had a generous amount of delicious fresh lobster. The Mac and cheese was well made and came in asmall cast iron pan. One of the servers said people don?t order the spinach artichoke dip enough and they are missing out? andshe was right. Creamiest cheesiest dip served in a bread bowl. Fries have a nice salt on them. Our final time there one of usordered the veggie burger for the first time-it was a strange taste and texture and looked as though it had freezer burn. Theserver told us they are not frozen so that couldn?t be the case and that what we were seeing was Panko. We asked to ordersomething else which is not something we typically do and even though it was very busy, they accommodated and were kind aboutit. Seriously one of the absolute best meals on the island. Love the atmosphere here and both indoor and outdoor dining. The side... patio even has a large TV out there. But the meals are unreal. PPP just puts out amazing meals over and over. They smoke thereown meat right out front and if that smell doesn't drag you in what will. What kind of place is " not sure if they can make a sea breeze,and then when I ordered my burger WELL DONE, the waitress says "... we cook them through,but I can't guarantee that it will be WELL. Granted this was in early SEPT. Maybe all the regular staffhas gone. You know how to make a burger well done? Leave it on the grill a little longer. It's not rocket science .
