Order two subs, took 45+ minutes to get subs. Only 4 people in the whole place that ordered. When I finally asked if they were... gonna make my subs, her reply was Oh we're making them now. There were online orders that they filled as well, but damn 45minutes. Unacceptable, and they had 4 people working. Also after getting back to the hotel, the ham is different at thislocation than all the rest. Club on a sub has never had ham sliced a quarter inch thick, and same with our hook and ladder.Don't know what this franchise is about, but I should have read the reviews before and just went to Publix in the same plaza.Will always like firehouse, just not this store. My husband and bought subs one an italian and mine was the corned beef. The Italian sub was awesome but the corned beef was... awful. There was so much grizzle and fat in the sandwich that only half the sub was edible. I was seriously disappointed. It was our first time there and we would go again but would not recommend the corned beef to anybody. I hope this review willbe noticed and the situation rectified Read more
Pretty good first experience. Staff was nice, food was delicious. Took about 35 minutes for my food, but was worth the wait:)
5/26/22 update: seemed a little slow today like there are some new people or something. Everyone was friendly and food was still... great.... Just had to wait longer than usual. We love firehouse subs. Their food is great quality and we love the fast service.We like the online order ahead option and we can quickly pick up with their easy pick-up set up. We also love all the add-onsfor their sandwiches so you can really customize it how you want it. Read more
4 employees and a empty restaurant. I thought, this would be fast. This was the first time taking my daughter there and bragged... to her how this place is better then subway. 2 subs ordered and not to be toasted and waited 26 minutes. People who orderedafter us was getting there food before us. Asked why it was taking so long and got attitude. When I finally got my order it waswrong. No Oil & vinegar MEANS NO OIL & VINEGAR! She couldn't even eat her sub. There was no way I would even eat my sub infront of her and felt so bad that I told her let's eat at home instead and left. Who was I to complain to the staff withattudes. When we got home I tossed both subs ($26 bucks worth) and ordered pizza so we could both eat together as a family asintended. First impression means alot, and they failed on all accounts. You want better ratings then provide better service.Meantime my daughter and I will be going to Subway for our subs for now on. Read more
Firehouse is my favorite. I come to this location all the time. I would gladly pay more for a superior sub. However tonight 3/10... was a disappointment. I placed an online order for a large New York steamer for takeout at 7:00 for 7:15 pickup. Which costs$13 these days. They called when I was on my way and said the toaster was broken. They said they couldn't toast the bread butthe meat and cheese would be hot like normal. Fine I said. I arrived on time and had to wait a few minutes which is fine.However, there was nobody in the restaurant and no take out orders sitting in the pick up area. But whatever, they're extra slowtonight. When I was handed my sub I could tell immediately they skimped on it. There was probably half the normal amount ofmeat. It looked like a subway sub but worse. I could have gone to Publix and paid less and got a better sub. I could have goneto Subway and paid less and got a better sub. Both of which are in the same plaza. I hope this was a fluke and this franchiseeisn't just another business owner trying to charge more for less. If that is the case, do you think customers won't notice? Mostpeople aren't stupid. Like I said, I come all the time and such a drastic reduction in quality is definitely noticed. I willcome again but if I receive a less then subway quality sandwich for $13 again I'm not coming back. And I'm sure I won't be theonly one. Read more
I love Firehouse?s New York Steamer and usually get at least one 8? Steamer a week. Today, I was inspecting a home in New... Smyrna Beach so I stopped here for lunch. The steamer came out hot and fresh as alway. I when they called my name and handedme my sandwich I questioned if it was in fact a medium which they stated yes. I open the box and not only did it feel lighterthan normal the sub inside the tapered 8? box had at least an 1 1/4 clearance either end of the box. I took the sandwich uponce again and was told it was a medium. I have alway received an 8? sandwich in the past. Today I received a 5 1/2? sandwichin an 8? tapered box. The meat seamed to be less than usual. The pickle spear was also cut in half. Very disappointing andwhen I brought it to there attention they didn?t seam to care. While the sandwich was good, I will not be revisiting the NewSmyrna Beach location again. So sad as I really love the sandwich. Read more
Was given incorrect items on our subs. Subs were both soggy and not matching good quality. Not a good thing to happen if there... are allergies Tomatoes were added to the steak and cheese Very disappointing.
