For the most part this is a nice Mcdonald's. It has been in New Smyrna the longest of the 3 owned by the same company. As they... say, one bad apple can spoil the whole barrel. My recent (2X) experience with a shift manager (Laura) proved to be anannoyance. She was very curt and rude communicating over the outside order station. Comments like "what do you want" and "youdone yet" did not measure up to the standards of "Heather" who breathes light in every visit. When I brought this to theowner's office and requested a call back--I never received one. My opinion is if the owner is unresponsive and negligent, howcan one expect the staff to be any different. Atrocious, and let me preface this by saying I worked in fast food. Night crew needs to get it together. Lights are on. Drive... through lights are on. Lines for days. We know you're in there. I repeat YES WE KNOW YOU'RE IN THERE! You're being paid forcustomer service and you just serviced the car ahead of me in the drive thru. I get it...that person is someone you know.COOL! However, I am a delivery driver. I am failing someone else because you all are hiding out versus doing your job. That inturn means I can't do my job and my metrics decrease. Thank you for that. Where are the managers? What are you doing? Why isthis happening? If you don't want to work DON'T but own it. Own that you are there not to serve food or help customers. Own thatyou fully lack an understanding of restaurant work. Own that customer service means zero to your entire team. Own that you lacka sense of work ethic.
