We were excited to try this place by looking at the pictures online. The restaurant is definitely quite nice and the tree house... deck was neat to see once but wouldn't go back. Hard to tell with pictures but the deck actually faces a super busy road and thestreet noise was just constant. We had the swordfish stack and the pimento mac and cheese. Both dishes were really good and agood price for the size of the meals. We also really liked the corn fritters that came with the meal. Service was also reallygood and if we were in the area again we would definitely go back but would just sit inside instead of the patio. Very charming place to go on a dinner date. We were seated outside, got our order in a timely manner. Food was excellent. That... seafood potpie is very delicious! So was the french onion soup. Hubby had a creamy pesto pasta dish with added shrimp. Nomilitary discount offered. Read more

Great food, and a great atmosphere! The burger & beer lunch special hits the spot. Cocktails were tasty. They even had plenty of... Gluten Free & Vegetarian options on the menu too. Before visiting this restaurant over the weekend, I checked the reviews. I noticed they had recently received a bad review due... to service, but I still decided to check it out and I am so glad that I did. From the moment that we arrived everyone wasextremely pleasant. Even though, it was busy and didn't take too long to get a table. Patrick was our server and he provided uswith above and beyond service. He was very knowledgeable of the menu and offered some great choices that we all enjoyed. Thescallops wrapped with bacon are simply delicious. He really took great care of us. Wait time: Immediate seating with no RSVP on a Friday night. 10/10 Hostess: 4 wonder smiling faces that were happy to see us... and promptly greeted us and brought us to our table. 10/10 Server: Michelle was Great, knowledgeable and made greatrecommendations. 10/10 Food: Meals ordered: Bacon wrapped scallops which were to die for and full of flavor 10/10, Calamariseasoning was great but the breading was a little to thick 7/10, 1 pound snow crab legs (Feeds 2 people I promise if you orderappetizers) 10/10, for desert the highly recommended bread pudding 8/10 feeds 2, very flavorful (only recommendation-Switch thewhipped topping for vanilla ice cream DELICIOUS). Sangria was a bit watered down and tasted more like juice but ok overall 6/10.Coconut Shrimp 10/10, Stuffed Mushrooms were great 9/10. The food is beyond amazing. The restaurant is fun and airy, felt wonderful after spending several hours on the beach, which is... just a few minutes away. Our server was sweet and kind. Loved loved loved the escargot! Would highly recommend and would returnif we are ever in Florida. Read more

This a neat place. It's definitely a gimmick but not one you'd really find anywhere. Fortunately, the food measures up to the... allure of the atmosphere and for how busy it was, we were able to get a table for 2 immediately. Should I visit the New Smyrnaarea again, I'm definitely going back to try more. Our server was Patrick and he was very charismatic and helpful with ourdecisions on food.
