This is such a throwback restaurant it has a great atmosphere. You can eat inside or pull up curbside and eat there under there... roof like you would in the mid to late 19 hundreds. You pull up and wait a couple of mins then a waitress comes and takes yourorder, then puts it in and in about 5 to 10 you have your food. I love the nostalgia and they are very quick. The only downsideis there famous burgers what they are know for are very thin and not much seasoning. In my opinion they don't have a good burgerto bun/topping ratio if they could make them a little thicker they would be perfect. Thats all I have tried they few times Ihave been so I can't inform on the rest of the menu. But for the burger the flavor is good and cooked properly and the toppingsare fresh so overall a good experience they few times I've been. Read more

Great food great service good prices! I like The Choice of dining in or sitting in my car that's cool, takes me back. This time... we dined in. It is a small town atmosphere which I also liked. Read more

We love Papa?s. Very basic drive style diner with an extensive menu of comfort food. This is not a gourmet type place so set... your expectations accordingly. I love the cheeseburgers and wife likes the Reuben. Fries are always fresh and hot. Service isfriendly and fast. They close early on Monday so plan ahead. Read more

My wife and I were excited to find a local ?hole in the wall? place after moving here a few months ago. Boy was this a... disappointment! The fried chicken was subpar at best and tasted like the grease was old, ? and then there were the sides? themashed potatoes and gravy looked like something you?d find in a cow pasture and tasted absolutely horrible. They were somethingyou?d expect to find at an old folks home. My wife said she couldn?t believe I put them in my mouth after the way they smelled. The roll was as dry as a dog biscuit. We took one bite of everything and threw it all in the garbage. Utter disappointment. Theone upside was the sweet waitress we had? bless her heart, outside waiting on people in this heat. Read more

Bottom line: this restaurant is very effective at what it does by feeding people decent food and staying busy. The restaurant... serves dine in guests and service is also through a drive in style as well. The food is decent but not overwhelmingly great. I?d suggest sticking to the basics like the hamburger or the fried chicken. Offerings on the menu are not designed to behealthy. You?ll find no organic items, no vegetarian focused dishes, and no items marketed as gluten free. The menu itself isfar too large and could easily be reduced for better focus. Maybe they should narrow the menu offerings by half then work toimprove better sourcing on produce, seasoning, meats, and recipes to elevate the remaining items. Doing more actual fromscratch cooking might be good too like perhaps add a meatloaf with a house ground beef. Oddly the menu has a Taste of Italysection; it?s out of place seeming like a afterthought with the meatballs being not ?made in-house? but simply sourced asfrozen. Seating is very close together diner style with tables right next to one another to maximize the number of peopleserved. It feels crowded and loud with guests eating in close quarters among bustling servers. The servers work hard and thekitchen is busy too. Guest come here for the early bird specials which are very affordable. Read more

Pappas is a quaint little diner with terrific food! I always have to stop in when I am in town. It reminds me of the mom & pop... restaurants back home. They have everything you can imagine on their menu, if you are craving it they more than likely will haveit! My favorite go to is the cheese steak sub and a piece of peanut butter pie! Sadly I found out my last trip they no longeroffer peanut butter pie, but their lemon and coconut is just as delicious! They offer a lot of great daily specials throughputthe week. I suggest get there earlier in the day because if you go close to closing they might be out of your favorite dish orside, I missed out on the clam chowder because I waited to late. You have the choice of dining in our pulling right up with yourcar to order. The staff is friendly and the facility is clean. Read more
