We were excited to check this place out given the high rating. Sorry to say we were disappointed with the flavor of our food. I... had Blackened fish taco, steak burrito and chips with queso. All were Fresh, hot and made quick but the flavors were justlacking. The meat in my steak burrito was very tender. Prices were excellent for the portions. The staff immediately cleans thetables when your done and take pride in their place. Overall, this is a good spot for a quick bite. Give them a try. Read more

This is a popular local place. Cute Hawaiian themed deck. Covered outdoor seating. Service was good. I had the 3 "Shack Taco"... plate. Tacos are $2 each or 3 for $5. They have beef, pork, chicken and vegetarian style tacos. I had the 3 tacos with allthree meats (beef, pork and chicken). The beef tacos were kind of generic ground beef. Standard toppings (lettuce, tomatoes,cheese, a little bit of Pico de gallo). Toppings were fresh but, I'm afraid, no spectacular taste. I should note that we livedin S Cali for many years, visited Mexico multiple times... in other words, we've had some really great tacos! The pork taco wassimilar to the beef. Fresh toppings, she'll was good. Tasted fine but nothing spectacular. The chicken was my favorite. Niceseasoning on the meat, good flavor, fresh toppings. Several other customers had combo plates that looked quite good but I can'tcomment beyond that. We'll probably come back when we're a bit more hungry and try other things. What a pleasant stop I had here! Food was amazing! The cashier was great on telling me how long it could Take and she even... nailed it! Even that before they open they had line is that good!
