Went for a birthday dinner. It was not a pleasant experience. Place was almost empty. Waiter was nice, but after he took our... order never came back to check on us. We ordered a pasta dish with lobster and were told that shrimp would be substituted, because they were out of lobster, which we... said ok to. But we found out later there was an extra charge for that, which we were not told when ordering it. If anything Ibelieve we should have been charged less. The food took a long time to be served. Its on ok location. The wait staff are super nice and check on you frequently which is a big plus, but the food it a little hit... or miss. We ate dinner there and one of the meals was really peppery but bland at the same time, but when we talked to ourwaitress, she offered to put in a new meal and took the other one off our bill without us having to ask which was a nicesurprise. The next day we ordered out some chicken wings and a pizzone (I think that's what it was called) and it was all reallydelicious. Also, if you are staying at the attached hotel, they give guests a 10% discount which is super awesome so if you do,flash them your room card when you get your bill. Read more
I have dined at The Green Mill Restaurant & Bar several times when visiting New Ulm. The restaurant is adjacent to the Best... Western Plus hotel, so no need to leave the property for dinner and drinks. Everything I have tried has been very good. Mycolleagues and I all like their pizza & wings, but my favorite is probably the pan seared walleye. I will definitely return thenext time I?m in town. Read more

Staffing here was very pleasant and timely. I ordered the desert spicy pasta with shrimp. Rarely does a dish get my taste buds... aflame but this one did it ???? very pleased with the food. Pricing seems appropriate for the way things are in the world. Definitely recommend ???? Read more
