One of the best donair wraps I've ever had, highly recommend. Out of sheer curiosity I also ordered their Poutine and it was on... the flipside terrible. Genuinely good potatoes(not fries) ruined by disgustingly poor nacho cheese drenching everything. Ofcourse who goes to a donair olace and orders Poutine, the actual donairs themselves are incredible Read more

or did the donair plate today. I really like the salad. the chicken seasoning was different from what I was expecting but it... was still good. parking tends to be an issue here, so I would recommend ordering through an app and then just going to pick itup. I happen to have an entertainment coupon which I could use today and that was why I ended up coming here. Read more

8 @ Doneras is a small little donair shop located on Eighth Street in New Westminster, across from Douglas College and in the... same complex as Rong Rong Tea House. I?m often surprised at how good food can be at these little nondescript places. Now,before you rush over here, just remember to watch your step when you enter the shop as there?s a small step down that?s easy tomiss. On my first visit, I ordered the Lamb Gyro ($6.99) which is served on tikka naan bread unlike their donairs that areserved in a pita. This wrap includes lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, and sweet banana peppers along with the slices of spicedlamb meat. The gyro was creamy from the sauce and I liked the grilled naan bread that it was served in? overall, a really goodgyro. I returned for a revisit to try their Chicken Kebab Platter ($11.99) which is a large serving of salad, rice, andpotatoes. The tender spiced chicken was quite good and the meat wasn?t dry (which is often a problem I find with chicken kebabplatters). There was a pleasant aroma when they brought this to my table and the hot sauce was really on point. This platteralso comes with a serving of grilled pita bread and a crisp salad with a tart vinaigrette. There?s a lot of food in this platterand it?s quite filling. Normally, I?m not into eating a lot of potatoes but the lemon garlic potatoes (which are cut superthick) turned out to be really good. It was another 4 months before I returned here (but I?m not sure why). I remember that Ienjoyed their gyro last time (which is served in a grilled naan bread and served taco-style) so I ordered the Beef Gyro. Similarto my experience with their lamb version, there was crisp lettuce, tomato, onions, tzatziki sauce, and hot sauce which was heldtogether within the naan bread. Having had their gyro twice, I figured I should at least try their donair? specifically, theChicken Doneras ($6.99) which is very similar to the gyro but served in a pita wrap. They have a number of di Read more

Don't let the assortment of menu items fool you, they make excellent donairs. I was originally a little skeptical thinking that... a place that also serves ice cream, nachos, milkshakes, and coffee might not make good donairs but I was WRONG! Very unique andoriginal donair options that you won't find anywhere else. I've been back a few times for the jumbo lebanese, it was veryfilling even for someone who eats a lot. Will definitely be back or will be using doordash/skip the dishes for future orders. Read more

This is the place to eat if you?re hungry and in the New Westminster/Burnaby area. They have very original donairs not offered... anywhere else, portions that can?t be beat, and their flavours are well balanced with savoury, creamy sauces. I?ve tried theSpanish, Butter Chicken, Labanese Donair and the Chicken platter and my tastebuds were tickled! The donairs (or doneras) wereall grilled to perfection, had the right amounts of meat, veggies and sauce in every bite, and were bigger than any other donairplace I?ve tried! Best part was, the price couldn?t be beat! The people working there treated you just like family. They werewelcoming, generous hosts and even have a couch and video games for you to feel at home. Their laid-back attitude and friendlysmiles are a definite bonus and it?s something you don?t see too often at other food joints. Definitely go here if you?relooking for a good place to eat that won?t break the bank. They even do take out and delivery! This place has got you covered! Read more
