Worst wings I?ve ever had in my life. Chewy, rubbery, stone cold on the middle. Frozen wings. Tried the hops happy hour beer.... Twas a joke! I had water. Beer flavoured water. Servers seemed nice but service was meh. Never got asked for a another round,never got asked how the food tasted. They seemed to entertain their regular guests and mostly each other. I should?ve gone toBoston pizza like I originally intended. A Belgian moon and a pizza would?ve been the same as the $25 price tag that I paid forliterally the worst bar experience of my life. A group of my friends and I visited the Hops in New West last night during our bar hopping experience in New West. We had the... most amazing experience with Jeffrey. He was so genuine and provided us with blankets when he saw we were chilly, he came byand made us all giggle and enjoy our night. Jeffrey provided the best service! Read more

We visited this pub a few times, usually in summer to be seated on their patio area. It offers quite a decent list of beverages.... I found their choice of IPAs to be a bit weak, but after pandemic re-opening, they introduced Mariner IPA to the list, and it'sa game-changer for me. Service is slow at times, mainly because the place is packed, and there's only one waitress, but it'sbearable. We never went past appetizers, but I can tell that wings are good, and mozzarella triangles are nice when cheese staysinside, which doesn't happen always, and you get triangles with no cheese inside. Also, I'm not sure if it's a post-pandemicmeasure, but now the kitchen closes at 8 pm. For us, somehow missing the last kitchen call, it was the end of the night. Oneother thing that I really liked, which is not available anymore in COVID-19 reality for very obvious reasons, is that they usedto have a popcorn machine where patrons could get a free popcorn ? it's genius. I can't say that this pub is perfect, but theyare trying to be so, and I can see why many locals like it. Give it a try. Read more
Drinks and food are pretty good. There's only one staff that looked like she was done for the day that almost didn't want to... cater to a big group (she cleaned the table left by customers before us). The other staff that continued to serve us is prettynice otherwise so we still felt valued afterwards. Read more
