Went on a Thursday for lunch. Food was decent, ramen was a bit on the salty side but nothing to write home about. One bowl of... ramen was about $14 so not bad for the price you pay. It wasn’t super busy since it was the middle of a weekday, but it washard to get the attention of the waitress. She put the food down and walked away pretty much immediately, and didn’t come tocheck on us a single time. This would have been fine if we had enough chopsticks, but we didn’t. All three of us had to lookover at the front counter for someone to finally make eye contact with us and direct our server over. She seemed quite botheredthat we needed something, and that we interrupted her standing-around time. We also didn’t get any water or tea refills—wehad to look around for her again to see if she was available. I think we managed to get one refill in the end. Very well put together sushi place. Great quality food and beautiful presentation. Service is great too. One of my favourite... points is they only use sockeye salmon (much better taste and quality). Some places serve cheap Atlantic farmed salmon to keepprices down, others give both options bit charge a premium for sockeye. Ki Sushi uses sockeye and prices are fair for salmonsushi. For the quality and if looking to spend a fair price, definately worth going. I myself have made several trips fromVancouver to here for the food! Read more
Had the worst experience at Ki Sushi. We went on Tuesday night party of 3 didnt order much few rolls but it took them very long... time to bring our orders Brought one order then another 30 mins wait and brought the 2nd another 3mins wait. I had keep askingthe server as where is our order was multiple times not too sure about the star here but in all honesty poor service received.Very bad!!! The sushi tastes really good! Read more
Like you can tell that the sashimi is very fresh and good quality. It is good portion and quite decent price. However the sauce... on it is terrible. It said spicy salmon sashimi but nothing spicy and tastes like sesame oil only. Had to wash off all the sauceto eat lol Read more
Nice place with a very friendly staff. Food is good and well served. We ordered the 3 course meal/dinner for two + edamame and... we ended up taking some home!!!! And we eat well. Read more
Didn't have to make a reservation on a weekend evening and got seated right away. The tables are not extremely close together so... there is some comfort in having the extra room. Staff were patient in giving time to wait for the rest of our party and toorder. Food arrived within a reasonable time after ordering and was quite good. Rice was cooked well and food was hot. Wouldn'tsay that the food is exceptional, but is definitely fairly priced and of good quality. Would recommend a visit if you're lookingfor some standard Japanese food. Read more
