This place is not entirely reliable. Food has been great on some occasions and mediocre are best on other occasions. Got the... Thai Green Curry (Thai spicy). The food was not made to Thai spicy. The curry also had a really thick consistency, which wasvery disappointing and different to what it should be like. The chicken was surprisingly good. Staff were nice. Whaaaat? This purple building is a restaurant? No secret password needed to get in. Amazing Thai food experience. Plates to... share, and large portions . Really great value. We had fish cakes appetizer and garlic prawns, pineapple curry and jasmine rice.Excellent flavours. Definitely going back. This place is very unassuming from the outside; don't let it fool you. Walk insideand be surprised by elegant dining old growth original wood beams alongside some Thai art and decor. Bar, wifi,accessible. Butparking is on the street. Had some unique dishes but overall a bit disappointed with the restaurant vibe. They had a waiting area in front of a bunch of... disassembled shelves and the chairs were too low for the table.. there was a bit of grime on the chairs and table and it justfelt like the place was not being well-maintained. The hallway to the washroom passes by a cart full of dirty dishes and it wasjust a bit unpleasant. The food was decent, but I could not see any sort of presentation of my food. The plate was big and flatand it just? did not look appetizing. Even though it tasted fine. I probably would not come here again. Read more
Amazing Thai food here. We were really impressed! Very authentic. One of the best Thai food I?ve had, it is comparable to the... ones I?ve had in Thailand. Good portion of food. Highly recommend the Green Thai curry and tom yum soup. Can?t wait to go back! Read more
We came here for dinner yesterday on a Friday evening at prime time (First time coming here). We didn't make any reservation so... we expected to wait for a bit. We waited for about 30-40 minutes. You can leave your phone number and walk around until theycall you or there is a little sofa for you to sit and wait. The ambience of the restaurant was nice and the staffs werehustling. The food didn't take too long to arrive at our table and I absolutely enjoyed the grilled pork skewers. We alsoordered the traditional pad thai with shrimps and streamed curry with seafood (HOR MOK). The shrimps were pretty big and theywere generous with their seafood portion. It was my first time trying that curry... it was good but I now I know I prefer othercurry better. I was hoping there would be more coconut flavor from this dish or even have coconut shreds/ chunks. Overall, I cansee myself coming back here to try other dishes and definitely will remember to make a reservation. Read more
