I write this review on behalf of a hockey team that goes every Sunday to this pub. Decent little pub with lots of beer choices... and good food but the service is hit or miss. If you happen to get Taylor, a waitress that works there, she is the best and youare in good hands. I'd change my rating to 5 star if she was full time Sundays! Lol Read more

Good decor, great service, nice beers and drinks. We liked the calamari

Why even stay open if there is no service and walking up to the bar to get our own drinks is a long wait too. Food arrived... quickly but items were missed (but we were not charged). We would have ordered more and stayed longer but there just wasn?t anypoint. Read more

Gabby is awesome! We came here for drinks for my friends birthday and she provided phenomenal service! We came and had many... drinks but told her that we would have dinner at the taco factory. She told us that we were welcome back and she meant it. Sheserved us when we came back and her service did not waiver. It's a great looking pub inside, and I've never had a problem with service. All the staff have always been friendly and... courteous to me. But they really need to do something to encourage a social mingling atmosphere, and attract a crowd you'd wantto be social with. Currently it's a restaurant with a small bar in the middle. Every group sits at a table in their own bubbleand don't want to interact with anyone they didn't come with. The small bar in the middle only seems to attract career drinkersand stool squatters. An absolute gem of a bar located in Sapperton. The district lager beer is one of the best beers I've had in the City. The happy... hour offers are to die for. And the staff that grace this establishment are very courteous and outgoing. The bartender Jack wasknowledgeable on his mixology while my server Gabby was energetic and bubbly all through. Sad place. For a while we had a good bar in the neighborhood. Happy hour could be good if the food was consistent. At times very... terrible (over Cooked calamari, menu shrinking, avocado toast?!? etc..) Also cannot hold on staff, we end up with teenagersplaying different music (so you don't know what you'll get) & that is not following what the customers would enjoy but theteenagers liking. Lost almost all regulars. Managers is absolutely unfriendly, never acknowledge anyone, just come out to putdown the staff. I guess this is why the few experienced staff leaves all the time. If you hire young staff teach them customerservice. Its now always dead in there, compared to last year or even the previous (COVID), no matter how "great" the happy hourprices are. Sad affair, and I have to say even browns is better. I use to go 2-3 times a week, but now I buy beers at the liquorstore and go home or go to browns for decent food if I'm hungry.
