Was rudely treated for my drink order this morning, both employees made rude remarks. Very pathetic to have staff giggling and... talking trash about the customers. Some people have difficult jobs to face during the day and then you have batistas making funof you.. Also the last time I came to this location and purchased a bag of espresso beans and asked them to grind them for me.Many unground beans in the bag and honestly the grinds look nothing the other ground espresso I've purchased from othernon-starbucks companies. If you can't provide quality service or quality products, who needs to waste their hard earned moneythere? A little respect can go a long way. Read more
We decided to buy some groceries in the Safeway connected to the Starbucks. After we were done and had got everything, we... decided to go over to the in-store Starbucks on the way out. There was no lineup, I stood looking at the menu trying to make mymind up about what drink to order. I went up and the young woman working there must have been just getting back from break. Shewas standing at the counter as I approached; no greeting, nothing. Just looked at me until I said "HI". I got a quiet , not veryhappy "hi" back. No smile, no conversation, nothing. I proceeded to order my two drinks. I wasn't finished and she was alreadytelling me my total. I told her I wanted light ice in one, and half sweet for another. She didn't say "can I get you anythingelse?" I just thought she came across as unwelcoming and unfriendly. To top it off, I wanted to pay by my Starbucks app and theyare not taking payment by app at that time. I understand that wasn't anyone's or her fault, but she could've made the effort totell me that prior to me placing the order. That would've have been good service. I just left as I felt unwelcomed. No "sorryabout that" or "have a good night" as I walked away. Left a bad taste. Most Starbucks locations ask you "how are you?" Or "isthere anything else I can get for you?" Not this one, the service wasn't there at all. Won't be back to this Starbucks. I'll besticking with the Mcbride location if I have to shop there. Read more
The nice barista working at the counter today gave five star service as I tried to salvage my expring points for the day, as Im... just mere 5 points away from a free drink and more than 10 pts expire today as well... after different attempts, she had me afree one, really made my day. I started coming to this location in Safeway at New Westminster Station a couple months ago as I needed a caffeine boost before... work. I have now made this a regular part of my morning as the staff are super friendly and the coffee is always fresh! I?vebeen to countless Starbucks, but the service I receive here is excellent, and above and beyond what I experience any where elseI go. I?m a creature of habit and mostly order the same thing every morning but the fact the barista ( I believe she is themanager as I see her there often ) remembers my order and other customers orders just goes to show she?s very courteous andprovides a great rapport with everyone she serves! For me that type of service gets noticed and extremely appreciated especiallyin a world with so much rudeness and negativity. I?ve seen them handle long lines and rushes with ease and patience. All thestaff are amazing and deserve recognition but I want to shout out the manager as she is truly awesome and always creates awonderful experience! Read more
You don't need a Starbucks store here. I can't understand. I bought tumblers, but I don't have a paper bag. It always is. and... will never come there. Be sure to prepare a paper bag next time!!! Don't do that. Read more
An awesome experience and completely overwhelmed to be honest! I normally always hesitate whenever going to the Starbucks joints... inside a grocery store as you never know how it's going to roll. However, the staff here are super friendly and talented atmaking great drinks. I got a Soy Pumpkin Spice Latte in which the lady was super accommodating with specifics about how I loveit and made it perfectly with a cute little love heart Latte art. I do love Starbucks and it's consistency of great products andservice, this place excels that bar. Fully functional Starbucks basically, apart from the fact you cannot order ahead via theapp but that's pretty much it. It's also pretty cute and a nice little coffee bar. Read more
My friend ordered my drink while she was waiting for me and I ordered salted cold foam cold brew but the staff didnt know what... it is, asking salted caramel foam coldbrew? and she said they dont have salted cold foam ???? and I asked just no caramel in it,so she made it. It was not really pleasant at the moment cuz I was in a situation asking to my friend to get it as well. Anywaysthe staff made it and....... I found it when Im done with the drinks ???? The worst service from the cashier. They are not attentive and you have to repeat thrice your order because they prefer to have... a chat with the barista than serve you. Read more
