First time to this location. View was wonderful. The food was delicious. They were busy for lunch, so our food came out... slowly, but the waitresses were friendly and attentive. We ordered more food (than normal for lunchtime) as we had gift cards. The lobster bisque was good but the seafood chower was better. The crab stuffed ravioli was nice but lacked in taste. Calamarihad a light batter and a light, soft crunch. It comes with 2 sauces...we enjoyed the sweet chili. We couldn't finished ourfish and chips, so we took that home and our boys raved that it was the best they had! Ate dinner here with friends on our visit to Vancouver. This restaurant is uniquely decorated and features beautiful views to... complement its superbly delicious menu. The seafood tastes incredible-- the grilled salmon was luxuriously buttery andflavourful. I enjoyed every bite! Our server Marsha was professional, attentive, friendly, and overall very lovely to our groupas we finished dining near the end of the evening. Great selection of seafood and this chain seems to have the best locations in the lower mainland (by the water). Enjoyed the... soup and salad. Soup was small but chunky with a good amount of seafood. Salad is a little bare. If u like a more substantialCaesar salad order the entree. This one only has Parmesan and leaves. Most dishes are a good portion. Price is reasonable and Ilove that they serve brunch (extensive menu) in late afternoon. Read more

Exceptional! We have eaten here several times and it’s always been good(hence we keep coming back) but our meal tonight was... fantastic and I am updating my previous review. The steaks were perfectly cooked to order. Seafood so fresh and tasty. If I wasgoing to order the fish tacos again I would ask to substitute salad for the fries, it’s not really clear on the menu the“casual meals” all come with fries and the “entrees” come with mashed potatoes/seasonal veggies. The lava cake portionis huge definitely a “share” desert. The cheese cake, crème brûlée and ice cream cake are doable for a single person. Thekid’s menu had generous portions, it’s only supposed to be for up to 10 years old but there is no way 8 year old couldfinish her plate with 3 chicken strips and pile of thick cut fries. We also really enjoyed the sour dough bread they servedafter our drink order. It was a small fresh warm loaf just enough for everyone to have a little something while we waited forour order. Our family went to this place for dinner. Unfortunately the service was very slow, took about 15 minutes for a server to... initially get the drink order, then another 45 minutes for the food. However it’s most likely because of shortage of workers.The food was decent. It was fresh with good flavours. The seafood chowder was a bit too bland and watery. I haven't been to any Boathouse for years since the last time I did not get very good experience with the food in Richmond's... one. This time, the food is very good. Love the Nacho crab dip. The kids like it very much. My Lobster Ravioli was awesome. Theonly downside was the waiting. They took quite a while, I think more than 30 mins before the appetizers came. And a big time gapbefore the main came also. It was a busy time, I understand. But still it could be better. Read more

Bigger inside than it looks on the outside! Nice view and great service. Our waiter was very friendly. The food was great. I... especially love the crab ravioli and highly recommend it. It's delicious, I ate everything off my plate. I suggest getting somebread to dredge the remaining sauce with. The mocha pie was ok, a bit on the icy side and not as creamy as I expected it to bebut not bad. The appies were good-- chili prawns especially. Read more

It was a pleasant evening at the Boat house. The Appetizers were really really nice, although my main (fish) quite overcooked... and almost chciken like. The server was excellent and the staff overall was really pleasant too. The complimentary cake for myfriend's birthday was very sweet of them. Read more
