We are so spoiled by having our new Wilmington Pizza Joe's! I've narrowed my favorites down to...the corner slices any pizza,... steak wedges, veggie pizza, Philly Cheesesteak pizza and veggie with cauliflower crust! Manager continues to provideconsistently great food and a fun and clean environment! All the cooks and servers are Pleasant, hardworking and respectful.Gotta grab a bag of Hawaiian sweet onion potato chips, too ~ they're great with anything!! Read more
On first impression, Pizza Joes just looks like a very basic pizza shop. But their food is great ? just as good as I remember... from 20 years ago! For a quick lunch during a day of shopping, we ordered a superoni wedgie, which came out very quickly andwas a perfect size for sharing. It lived up to the name and was packed with pepperoni and cheese. The sauce was a bit sweet andthe pepperoni did make it a little oily, but the flavor was wonderful and the crust was cooked perfectly, soft in the middlewith a good crunch on the outside. Pizza joes new Wilmington is a hot slice of Americana. I love pizza joes. Unfortunately I don?t live in the area any longer but... when I do I?m sure to stop in. This pizza shop is family friendly and family owned. Dave and Tracey are great people and havemade this shop a small treasure in New Wilmington. There are a lot of favorites on my list. The Stromboli, Thursday pizzagreens, veggie pizza, spinach Italian pizza, pj dip and sticks, even some of the newer generation pizzas are extremely tasty. Square pizza is a MUST. Dough is made fresh daily. If you are local you need to realize you?ve got something special here. There aren?t many pizza shops like this. Because of this I don?t eat pizza very often.
