One of the best authentic Mexican restaurants I?ve ever been to. Food was mind blowing, Hard shell tacos have been the best I... have ever had. Churros just melted in mouth and we cleaned it all up. Their Habenero sauce was off the rod and of course theirgreat staff, not to forget Angel who took a Good care of us. Ended even buying their home made Salsa home. Must try if in thearea. What a amazing Mexican place. The staff was attentive and very friendly. The margaritas were strong and delicious we had... classic and tamarind margaritas. Both were amazing. The plants which adornd the establishment were beautiful and natural. Themenu was diverse and authentic. Our food was impressively delicious. The artwork was phenomenal. This is not a place to miss. Stopped by El Jalapeño Charro after visiting storm king art center. We were STARVING. We loved our food, the ambiance inside... the restaurant is right on brand for authentic Mexican cuisine. The waiters were males, they were very attentive and friendly.All of our food items were fresh, and delicious. Once you sit down you are given chips and salsa as a house courtesy, chips werefresh and the salsa was great! We got the guacamole for the appetizer and tacos for our main course. Visited on Sunday October 16 2022. Super friendly staff and service. Always smiling without being fake! Food: AMAZING! We had:... Avocado with Cheviche, Tamales and Shrimp Fajitas as our main dish, the shrimps were perfectly cooked on the hot plate! Ask forthe home made spicy sauce but be careful, its VERY spicy! Everything we ordered was super tasty and huge portions. I think wecould?ve sticked to the 2 appetizers only because they were huge. The place looks and smells clean.
