While the service and food was excellent, I rated them 4 stars. We ordered and noticed other dishes coming out that were not on... the menu that looked amazing. While we waited, it was hard to not observe that every table was being read specials that werenot shared with us. I love specials!! Otherwise.. amazing and I will return as well as spread the word. LA Casa Vicina: From the Appetizers to the Main Coarse Dinner along with the pasta, sauce. The food favor had the Real NYC... Italian taste and were not lacking on the serving sizes. My group and I were pleased with all our Meals & Service was on pointwe didnt even need to ask it was done timely. Not my favorite, but very decent quality food. I ordered the braised short rib ravioli, smoked salmon pasta, and duck risotto.... All of the dishes were tasty but not exceptional either. The duck was impressive. The risotto, however, was heavily lackingflavor. That was probably the most disappointing part of the meal. Of the three dishes, I would recommend the short ribravioli. Such delicious food! Super authentic Italian.. best cappuccino I?ve had in a while.. ordered calamari, eggplant parm, grilled... octopus, and rack of lamb.. short rib ravioli and chicken Marsala were delish...the almond cake with caramel drizzle was sospongy and yummy.. can?t wait to go back.. the service is top notch.. very professional and pleasant staff! The food here is phenomenal! I got the lobster ravioli and my husband got the New York strip. It was probably some of the best... ravioli I've ever had! I would come here again in a heartbeat. I got the chocolate cake for dessert and it was amazing! Theservice was very good as well! Read more
I highly recommend this place! I called only a few hours before I needed platters of food for a party and they took my order!... And it was ready on time! I got penne vodka, chicken parm and Cesar salad trays. They were all fresh and delicious! Guests keptsaying how good the food was! Prices are affordable too! I would definitely order again! Thanks!
