We dined here on Halloween night, and the solo server was kept quite busy between his indoor / outdoor tables and the community... trick-or-treaters who came to visit! Props to him for still delivering friendly, impeccable service. We enjoyed some of the bestBiryani rice I’ve ever had the pleasure of tasting (I highly recommend it with the shrimp!) Also tried the Chana Saag andgarlic naan, both fantastic as well. Extra thanks to our server who took time to answer all my mom’s inquiries about spices!Can’t wait to return again soon. Read more
We love. love, love Alachi Masala. The service is excellent, the food is delicious, and the fact that you can bring your own... wine is a real money saver during these poor economic times. Where can two people order two appetizers (vegetable samosa &onion bajji), a special bread (poori), a main course (lamb korma) and a complimentary dessert for less than $50.00....AND takehome a doggie bag? Me and my husband went here tonight for dinner. We ordered saag Chana and Hyderabadi baingan. Both dishes were good except the... baingan wasn’t as spicy as my husband requested. This is a cute little Bangladeshi restaurant in Manhattan with good customerservice. We also had rice, alachi chai, onion kulcha which are highly recommended. Read more
Really great Indian food, they also allow byob so we brought our own wine. We had the onion bhajis, chicken makhani, lamb... vindaloo, bhuna and saag paneer. Honestly all of the dishes were so delicious we were very impressed. I’d definitely come backhere for dinner, if you haven’t tried this place yet, run don’t walk! Read more
Lovely people and delicious, dependable food. Great for eating in or delivery. Outside dining available, too. Tonight, I started... with vegetable samosas. Delicious!! So light and fluffy the crust, so perfectly spiced the classic filling. Mango Lassi iswonderful with a sweet touch of whipped cream. I’m also going to have my favorite— saag (spinach) paneer and garlic naan.The owner is here — so welcoming and very grateful for his customers during these times that are so challenging forrestaurants and retailers. Alachi Masala has delicious food and the owner and staff are generous, caring and reliable! Every year before the pandemic they... delivered a delicious meal for our son's park picnic birthday. We haven't had a party since the pandemic, but when we calledthem they remembered us and very graciously agreed to deliver a wonderful meal to the park once again.
