I ordered Chana Pindi & Mangalorean Fish Curry through Grubhub & I uploaded what I received. Yes, it came with a layer of... floating oil. Not only it looks disgusting, its very unhealthy. My stomach was upset after eating a little & I dumped the rest.Unfortunately, most Indian restaurants in NYC give curries with a layer of floating oil. They confuse 'spice' with 'oil'. Read more
I used to order from here quite frequently and enjoy the food. However, I’ve had major issues with the delivery service... (delays). The last time I ordered through the website, the food never came and I was not refunded. I called several times andwas told different things—that the system was down, that they were going to send the food, etc. Ultimately, the food neverarrived and I was told I would get refunded the $90 I spent. I’ve followed up a few times and still have not been refunded.After seeing the reviews about the cc tips, this sort of seems in line with the management. I would not recommend orderingdelivery. Wow! Exceeded my expectations. I ordered the lamb shank for $25 and the flavor was incredible. Meat came off the bone easily.... Good atmosphere inside and enjoyed talking with the owner/staff. Read more
The food was excellent! There were two annoyances. They were playing different music in the front and back; we were sitting in... the middle, so they clashed. Also, it took surprisingly long to get the check: everyone disappeared for almost ten minutes. Read more

Came in to see if we could find a local Upper West Side Indian spot (for when we don't want to go to Drunken Monkey on the Upper... East Side). We ordered: -Lasuni gobi -Chicken samosa -paneer saag -Chicken Tikka masala -onion kulcha The food was pretty good.A few of the kulcha pieces were slightly undercooked but we saved those for reheating because there was plenty of leftovers. Thelasuni gobi and the chicken samosas were our favorite part of the order. The paneer saag could have used a little bit more salt.But all in all, I would order takeout from here or stop in for a local meal. Read more
