From their music choice, ambiance, and service - all around had a great experience here. My two friends introduced this spot and... hyped up the burgers. I can confirm the burgers went above and beyond my expectations, one of my favorite burger spots. We madea visit here on a Wednesday evening and was quite busy so make sure to call ahead of time to gauge potential waittime! Definitely recommend their cheeseburger, fries and chocolate cream pie! First time here and I was very impressed! From the atmosphere of the city outside to the dim lighting and elegant setting inside... to the service and of course delicious food and drinks, this place is a must for all New Yorkers. Our favorites of the nightwere the fried chicken, the whipped mashed potatoes and steak frites! They’re also well known and loved for their burger whichI need to have on my next visit. Au Cheval is really good. We went for a birthday brunch and everyone in the group enjoyed their food and drink. The highlights... were the chilaquiles, omelet, hash browns and green salad. The paper thin pickles piled atop the Bloody Mary were a greataddition to the traditional garnish of olives and hot pepper. The service was warm and friendly; the space the same. Great meal. Au Cheval has great ambience and a simple yet refined menu that will leave you totally stuffed. The staff was A+ and... we didn’t need to ask for a thing — they were always one step ahead! The bacon is a true highlight here. You get what youpay for, so it’s a bit pricey but we’ll worth a visit. Really dope restaurant with a great ambiance. Definitely a top tier spot to grab a burger. Make sure you put your reservation in... or you might not get seated. The service was great. The burger was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. The egg andthick cut bacon really topped it off. The combination of all those flavors was mouth watering. The fries weren’t bad, I gotthe egg on the fries just to be extra and see if it gives a unique taste but it’s not a necessity. Read more

I luckily got a seat for myself at the bar and ordered their signature burger with a fried egg. The service was a bit slow but... the staff were really friendly and helpful. The burger itself was quite good and the experience overall was enjoyable. The friescome with some sort of sauce that was fantastic. When I went to the restroom, I saw a speakeasy of sorts, so I'll need toreturn at some point. Read more
