Great service and care add to the exceptional ambiance at Balthazar in SoHo, New York. Regal spot for brunch but be sure to... reserve ahead of time as this restaurant fills up rapidly especially with the exorbitant foot traffic around the area. Solodiners get a complementary champagne on the house which was a nice touch and a great surprise. The bread basket was great, andthe coffee exceptional as long as it is delivered hot (one of my top ups was not). The Benedict’s are exceptional with theEnglish muffin and the Canadian bacon being very fresh. The home fries were also made from scratch and so I would recommendthose as your side. It was excellent lunch! Food was delicious,wine was perfect,and the deserts were out of this world! We especially liked... Pavlova!!! Service was excellent too. Good place for brunch if you are looking for good ambience. Service is fast and food is decent. Personally nothing really wowed... me, and I can’t find myself craving for anything after. But if you are in New York, might as well to go and enjoy theestablishment. Read more
