MY NEW FAVORITE DELI/RESTAURANT IN NYC!!! The food was EXCELLENT, this was the best turkey breast sandwich I've ever had! (and... I eat A LOT of turkey sandwiches) The meat so tender it just fell apart in my mouth and was SO flavorful! (the bread, lettuceand tomato were also fresh and delicious) And the corned beef reuben was AMAZING!!! The service was top notch! All the waiterswere very professional, attentive, and super friendly! The decor was really cool, kinda like modern-retro, lots of booths (whichi love), and it's very bright and colorful. This is going to be my new spot whenever I'm NYC. 10 out of 10 - would definitelyrecommend! Read more

A true classic in New York City! Amazing pastrami and corn beef sandwiches, with huge fillings and the best pickles around! I... also got a hotdog with sourkraut and that was fab too. Staff and team are super friendly and accommodating and able to answerall your questions. Old and new customers are treated the same and you want to come back for more. A must for anyone who’s inmidtown! Read more

Really, for real, fast service during the lunch rush. It helps if you know what you want before your server gets to the table.... Tons of space, and super clean. The unlimited pickles and coleslaw really are a nice touch. Pictured is the corned beef, whichis excellent. If you prefer your corned beef / pastrami on the lean side - just let them know. The menu has the option for'extra lean', but it's quite dry - the 'regular lean' (not on the menu) version is great. Great deli mustard, and the sandwichon it's own is enough to keep you going for the second half of the work day - or if you're just strolling through NYC. Read more

A great Jewish deli. Probably the largest in NYC. The restaurant is super clean and the service is excellent. The waiters make... sure your experience is nothing but wonderful. The chopped liver was delicious. Of course they give you a huge portion. It wassuper freshly made and delicious. The matzo ball was a bit too big but the broth was definitely delicious and rich. Really was looking forward to this as a great delicatessen sandwich. The staff was totally unfriendly. One server refused to... allow the host to seat me in his station because I was a solo. He didn't want me to be in a station cuz it was getting close todinner time. The next server I got barely spoke. English could not. It was very hard to place an order with her. The food isexpensive and it didn't really live up to the expectation of even a mid-tier deli. Simple sandwich was meat on bread that's itmanaged in a packet ketchup in a bottle on the table. Yeah you got a bowl of coleslaw and two fresh pickles. Coleslaw is decentpickles didn't care for it all but to have nothing on the sandwich but meat now. The pastrami was great but just pastrami onbread with a pickle and a cup of coleslaw. Really not very impressed bread not that exciting Read more

I've been to a few kosher restaurants in New York and Ben's is not one of my favourites. There are really better ones but it's... like religion, it's a matter of belief. Read more

Had a really nice lunch at Ben's with my wife. The restaurant is very large for Manhattan with lots of space, and it's a very... clean restaurant. There was Coleslaw & pickles delivered to our table before we even sat down! We then ordered Reubens, and theywere excellent. My only critique (as a Reuben enthusiast) is that the bottom bread was a tad soggy, making eating the thickReuben a little difficult. I prefer it when the bread is toasted and more stable. But overall, a good sandwich and a greatexperience! Read more

Keepin it real out here in Midtown Ordered for pick up several times from this place and solid experience every time, a bit... pricey tho. Finally had a chance to dine in for the first time. Pretty nice old school diner vibe. We ordered some prettytraditional items and they were good but i probably prefer the usual pastrami / brisket sandwiches. Nothing else really stoodout but it's a good spot for a relaxing meal . Read more
