My go to restaurant in that area I couldn?t say better things about it. The people the prices, quality and taste of the food... it?s all amazing. It?s the first place I recommend to people when they?re in the area. They?re almost always open, they havegreat GLUTEN FREE options for a small menu. Whether you eat in doors outdoors it?s all a beautiful relaxing area to get a biteto eat. Read more

I love this place - the homemade bread is incredible, the meat is good, and the toppings they throw on are all delicious! This... is the perfect food to eat after a night drinking or even for a casual dinner. The guys working there are nice too! Read more

Got the chicken pita and falafel wrap. Both tasted nice, the wrap is large enough and quite filling. Quick service, reasonable... price and fresh and simple taste. Read more

Fantastic döner! Try their homemade bread. It's crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, as close to brötchen as you can... get outside of Germany. The service was really friendly and the food was delicious. We sat outside and enjoyed the chaos ofMacdougall while we ate. Read more

I lived in Germany and grew up on Döner Kebabs. This is the best place in the US to get them, and I tried dozens. It is so... delicious, I wanted to pack some to take home. I'm probably going to stay in this area next time just because of this place. Thechef at the front was very kind and helpful. Excellent! Read more

Berlin Döner is Turkish comfort eats via Germany, planted on MacDougal Street in the West Village. tiny spot with a few tables... in the back. the menu is made of grilled beef, chicken, or lamb on rotating vertical spits as well as falafel served in pitas, homemade bread, wraps, or salads. it?s a very casual eatery frequented by NYU students where the foods are put together in frontof you. stopped by here last week, got a falafel pita and was very satisfied with the food. this is a overstuffed pita?full offresh veggies (shredded carrots, red onions, tomatoes, lettuce, tahini, hummus, and white sauce). the falafel were pillowy, soft, and seasoned well. the pita was soft, chewy, and served warm. overall, the falafel sandwich is good? but the sauce elementneed more punch?the hummus, tahini, and white sauce didn?t really layer in the flavors and got lost amongst the massive amountof veggies. falafel pita, $4.25 + tax + tip staff is curt and work fast. Heard of this place from Famous Fat Dave (famousfatdave.com) when I asked him for a Kurdish spot in NYC. Kebabs were amazing! My... partner who lived in Ireland said it was a proper kebab you would get in Europe! Service was great and staff were friendly. Read more
