Deserted when we were there because it was only 11:30am. Food was delicious..Chicken Marsala was perfect and the Shepherds Pie... was the real deal (we're Brits so we know...????)..our server let my wife try a couple of different Pintos to get the right one. Read more

It was my First visit, we were able to find a table quick at dinner time during the week. The staff was friendly, the drinks... were good, the boneless wings were just ok, they were made differently than the usual boneless wings. Overall a fun place tovisit but maybe not my first option for next time. Read more
Usually not too crowded. There are seats inside if you need a quieter place to talk.
Amazing service and beer selection ! The food is out of this world - Get the pizza!! daily specials are amazing too.
The food was so delicous!! We got the vegan meatballs (they tasted almost like risotto balls), brussell sprouts and mac and... cheese. All of it was very delicious comfort food. A little overpriced but I suppose that is standard for new york food. Read more
Love this pub. Honestly in my humble opinion probably the best pub in NY. Friendly Irish bar tenders (cliche), fantastic food... (better then the other bars I've eaten at in NY) and large selection of beers, wine and spirits. Great prices as well. Ifyou're a salad person, try the steak salad. The steak alone is worth it! Blackwells has become my favorite happy hour spot in midtown. My only complaint is that they close too early on Thursdays. The... space is very open, so you're not bumping into people simply trying to walk around. Read more
