I found this place because I was looking for a wine bar. Little did I know it?s way more. It?s a tapas and wine bar. The... portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable compared to other tapas bar. Service was terrible - We had to consistently flag servers down to get a table and order. They didn?t give us the apps first and... brought the food all at once after a long wait? My friend got a baked pasta dish that was ice cold - when she told the server,the server took the plate, microwaved the dish, mashed the pasta up and returned it to the table. Everything was amazing- from the service, to the ambiance, to the food to the drinks! Lexie was an amazing hostess. She was... attentive, sweet and fast! The octopus was so tender. The wagyu burger melted in my mouth (even though I ordered it well done),my partner?s salmon was cooked perfectly. The wines (happy hour) were tasty and aromatic. A wonderful little place that is off the beaten path. . Or is it??? Can there be an off the beaten path in NYC??? Amazing... French onion soup... like the people who work here are from France??? A great outdoor seating section and the inside ispretty cool. Great staff that is very friendly, and knkws the menu well!!! Review for Brunch - comfortable and welcoming environment. They had outdoor seating with some cover - to allow in the sun... without it burning on you. They were quite busy but we got in without a long wait (<10m). We got the 'Farmers Market Omelet' andthe 'Avacado Benedict'. Potatoes we nicely and flavorfully seasoned, hollandaise was delicious and creamy - with robust toastand soft and fluffy eggs. Soft and pleasant ambiance. Lamb meatballs were nicely tender and juicy. The flatbread may have come hot but cooled very... quickly. Beet salad was OK. Heard the happy hour and brunch menu could be something we should try. Read more
