Our experience at Buenavista was amazing! We stopped by after reading the reviews and it definitely did not disappoint. The... staff was very attentive and had amazing recommendations! I had the pork osobuco (our waiters recommendation) and it wasdelicious. After dinner, Kathia recommended the banana pudding and it was the perfect way to end our meal. A very nice restaurant with a precariously and cozy outdoor dining room. The space has two tables (2-top & 6-top) with... decorative lighting. But, in order to enter, you should look both ways for traffic as there is a bike lane between the curb andthe entrance. The food was delicious! I had a hot shrimp appetizer and a cold ceviche. We tried their duck, octopus, paella and ceviche. Honestly we didn't expecteverything to turn out to be this good. The duck and ceviche are crazy good, I'm not sure if I ever had any duck in any cuisineprepared this good. I love duck, it's something I always order when I see it on the menu and the duck Buenavista prepared wasimpressive. So good...seriously good... The paella is not the typical paella I'm used to so I can't comment whether its good ornot. The octopus has still some room for improvement but nevertheless very juicy and tender and very pleasant. We came here for the pulsd dinner for two deal and it was SO worth it! A full bottle of wine, starter, and two entrees - all of... which were awesome. Our server, Starlin, was also so personable and helpful as we figured out our order. Buenavista is phenomenal. Food, service, and atmosphere all is so great, especially food there is amazing. This place is where I... love the most in NYC! I couldn't find the other restaurants that I miss so much when I wasn't in the NY. I've been here morethan 5 times, and planning to go soon again. Just don't need to say more than two words, just give it a shot, you won't regretat all. I hope Buenavista will be long time in NYC that I can go anytime :) Read more
