This place has a strange vibe to it. It looks cozy, quaint and warm but the feeling disappears as soon as you sit down. Menu is... gargantuan, convoluted and servers are not very helpful in explaining the meanders of Argentinian meat terminology. We werepretty much left alone in guessing what each dish really was. I noticed that it also helps to get a better, more attentiveservice if you happen to speak Spanish. There are many steak places in NY. I don’t think I will be returning. Read more
A nice Argentinian restaurant in East Village. The food is delicious, service is friendly. The pricing is on the expensive side... but the portions are good. The wine by bottle is cheaper. My friends had the steak though I am a vegetarian and had theircanolenes and empanadas which were good too. All in all a good place to catch up with friends. Read more
What a great place! I’m so happy I found this restaurant, I will definitely be back. The food is delicious and their homemade... chimichurri sauce is to die for. But not only that, their also homemade dulce de leche is everything and beyond — and the bestpart is that you can actually purchase some jars and take it home with you. Good meat options. They are not about the service but the food was cooked perfectly. For starters we got blood sausage and... empanadas. For our main we got the Tbone, ribeye , half chicken and a side of spinach & fries. The meat was great. I wish therewas some sauce on the side of the chicken because it got a bit boring after a few bites. Drinks were ok. We told the waiterahead of time it was our friend birthday, he told us they would do ‘something’ , so after our meal I asked for dessert, hesaid ‘ I got it’ - dessert or a birthdays something never came out.
