This place is very interesting, and they mix Cuban and Chinese cuisine surprisingly well! We didn’t know what to expect, and... was feeling a bit adventurous, but it turned out well! Highly recommend their fried mushroom wonton and their mushroom noodle -both are so flavorful! The spring roll and pig ear were pretty good too. Also, their virgin mojito is really yummy! Highlyrecommend! Their interior decoration is also pretty cool, got good ambiance! Read more

We made reservations after the rude individual on the phone encouraged us to do so. Upon arrival this restaurant was absolutely... empty and the reservation was not required for a 8pm indoor dinner. We arrived and was seated next to what appeared a staffersfamily member or friend because all she did was complain about the portion size of the food. The decor is beautiful, bathroomsare tiny and the service needs improvement. Took us 15 minutes to get a drink refill, 25 minutes to get water refill and usgetting up from our seats to get the servers attention to get our check. We caught him huddled around his coworkersgossiping. Food was good but nothing to die for. The lechón dish would be best served with rice and black beans with a side ofsalad. The rice mix as seen in the photo was pretty good. The four stars were awarded because of food quality, pricing, decorand overall dining experience. A full five stars was not awarded because the server was extremely inattentive. Read more

I have to admit - I was skeptical, Cuban and Chinese? But I was pleasantly surprised. Food was great, we tried the duck bao,... paella, pig ears and shrimp wontons. The spritz was fresh and not sweet at all which went nicely with the food. Our waiter wassuper friendly and funny. Overall we had a great experience and would highly recommend it. Read more

So so so good! Everything was amazing. The fried rice was a huge portion so definitely get your money’s worth. The empanadas... was amazing with and without the cilantro sauce. Cilantro sauce was super fresh. I have no complaints! Would return! 10/10 Read more

A variety of good eats on the menu. A nice mix of Asian / Latino dishes. Staff was attentive throughout our visit. Everything we... ordered was fresh and delicious. Edit: In my initial review, I had a concern regarding their bottomless special. Due to themanagers speedy response, I’ve gone ahead and updated my review. Read more

Very generous portions! I had the saffron rice with chicken, which was ok, but I'm kicking myself for not having ordered the... fried rice. Everyone that did thoroughly enjoyed it. We arrived just a bit before the end of happy hour, so we were able toenjoy that as well. Great laid-back place! Read more

Calle Dao never ceases to amaze me. We started with a trio of starters. The regular Cuban sandwich rolls were crispy and the... mustard added a slight heat. The papas rellenas were crispy and creamy with a mid more of peppery goodness. The crispy duck isto be experienced. We the travels to beef and broccoli. The sweet tender short ribs with the texture of the noodles and savorytastes was striking. The Cuban friend rice was a mouth full of pull pork offset with the salty brine of the shrimp. What anamazing dance of flavors and textures. The staff was attentive and friendly. Read more

Excellent food! This place is great; I enjoyed the food maybe a bit too much. We loved all the starters: the duck was fantastic... and the empanadas as well, highly recommend both. For mains I took the recommendation of mixed rice with pork and ships. It wasamazing, so flavourful. My partner took the beef dish and it wasn't as good. Overall, this place offered very tasty dish, for aslightly steep price. So I'll visit again but not too soon in order to properly feast. Read more
