Our server showed a poker face most of the time despite being very polite. We don't feel like being welcomed. The food on the... other hand is very good. Bread is made in house and it's so soft like a cloud. Ordered sausage dip, grilled platter, Arabiancoffee, and mantia. I recommend everything I tried. Of the grilled protein, my favorite is pork liver, sausages are very goodtoo. Grilled chicken uses chicken breast is a little dry to my taste. Read more

A long overdue review~ but my friends and I had a fabulous evening back in September. This is my first time having Albanian food... and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it! The yogurt dips and sauces were creamy and tangy! I enjoyed the Skenderberg Steakand roasted pepper maze. I think for the proteins stick with mainly the red meats. Ooof and ending on coffee with the dessertswere so good! Tiramisu is different from an Italian one and is instead coated in a thick caramel sauce. The service wasoutstanding~ our lovely waitress Grisellda helped us go through the menu and was enjoyable in conversation. Read more

Amazing! I have been to Albania a couple times and was really excited to see that NYC has a thriving Albanian restaurant. On a... work trip I stopped by for dinner and was not disappointed. The food was delicious and the flavors really did take me back tothe culinary experiences I had while in Albania. Furthermore, the restaurant décor makes you feel like you are in a museum andplays homage to Albanian culture and a way of life (dress, commonplace items, old photos, etc.). My favorite part of myexperience: the restaurant staff. The staff was welcoming and had genuine smiles on their faces the entire time I was there. The whole place had an intimate, family feel to it, which I greatly appreciated. I highly recommend this restaurant, especiallyto those who like to visit places that spark an interest in other cultures...you will leave this place wanting to learn moreabout Albania. Read more

Beautiful authentic Albanian restaurant. Inside the restaurant you will see traditional clothes and various items representing... the Albanian culture. Very rustic. Delicious food all made from scratch. The freshly baked bread was to die for. We had variousappetizers and various entries. All were delicious. Finished it off with some Albanian coffee. The service was great. If you arein NYC make sure to stop by and check them out. Read more

A group of 6 of us had dinner last night at Çka Ka Qellue and had the most amazing experience. None of us had Albanian food... before so it was something new for us to try. Kristina and her team were so gracious and helpful with suggestions on what toorder. Their kindness was so appreciated in helping us guide the menu so we could sample a bit of everything and get a goodtaste of Albanian cuisine. Everything she recommended was A+, we especially liked the Cab from Kosovo which none of us had everhad, we ended up getting two bottles! We also really loved the setting, we sat outdoors in a rustic looking courtyard that feltlike we were on vacation in a small town in Eastern Europe. With all these factors combined, it truly was a special dinner thatwe will never forget! Can't wait to come back again! Read more

Yesterday for lunch we decided to go to a fairly new Albanian restaurant. They opened it a year and a half ago. They were... featured at food channel in Montreal, that's how we diacovered them and bookmarked. As New York's secret eateries. Everything ishome made. Even the yo?urt they serve is home made. Amazing food. Great friendly staff.  Inside looks like a mini museum. Oldphotos. Objects. The name means. What's left for food? Read more

We were delighted to discover a quaint Albanian restaurant. The service was friendly and attentive especially our waitress... Kristina. Upon entering the restaurant, we were taken back in time to a small village in Albania. The food was delicious. Wehighly recommend a visit. Read more

This is a good location to be introduced to Albanian cuisine. From the taste of the Tava Kosi, I can sense the fine quality of... the ingredients and the effort that went into preparing it. The bread that accompanies it was freshly baked from the oven. It'swell located in Midtown Manhattan. With it's close vicinity to the Empire State Building and Grand Central this is a nice placeto bring any out of town visitors one might be accompanying. Read more
