Great spot for tacos. I've dined in and taken out at Conmigo and it was not disappointing both times! The ambience of the... place is so nice. It's a great date night spot or even just a dinner spot with friends. It's one of the few places in NYC thathas pretty good tacos. As a vegetarian, I've only got the impossible taco as an option which is disappointing compared to otherplaces in the city. However, the impossible taco is delicious and they have great vegetarian appetizers as well. I like theirhoney empanadas, a very unique appetizer for sure. Their beans and rice are also vegetarian friendly which is a bonus. Theircocktail list is like most typical places but the drinks were good. When we've had Conmigo delivered to us, I was veryimpressed with the packaging. Out tacos held up and the food was still somewhat hot and tasted just as good as in therestaurant. I do think the prices are a bit steep for the quality and quantity which has contributed to my star rating. Read more
When we came in they were closing up the kitchen much earlier than listed hours but our server gave us 5 minutes to order which... was a nice move on his part. Food was really great and serving size was okay. They should make the guac to-order but it’sstill decent in the large batches they do. Love this place! Came back here with a friend a few days ago for lunch - and went with the spicy shrimp tacos along with a chips... and salsa to split. I always really love their salsa - it has the right amount of sweetness mixed in with spice and the spicyshrimp tacos are always really well done - that aioli is great! Service was quick and efficient and I love their outdoor seatingsetup. It was not busy at all for a random weekday at lunchtime but definitely gets more packed for dinner time so I'd giveyourself some wait-time if you're planning an evening event. I love, I love! I had truly no-low expectations exceeded^2 ???????? the drinks are THEE ABSOLUTE BEST (the Pom Pom grapefruit... drink was particularly great) and the Impossible taco is just phenomenal; it is better than any of the others imo. Come here to enjoy some Mexican classics. From nachos to the dessert it's all here. Vegetarians can substitute meat for beyond... meat. The large tasty portions and lively atmosphere will get you into the right mindset for a great Mexican experience. Theprices are reasonable and will unfortunately send you back to the upper east side. Seating is available indoor and outdoor atthis time. The staff are great! However the food was okay at best and the ambience was not great. It can be pretty loud music which is run... from opening till closing. Wish the music could toned down during the day and louder later. There is a lot of sitting inside andoutside. The menu is slightly limited but the portions are fair compared to other restaurants. Overall not the best ofexperiences. Can’t say anything stood out to make the location unique. Read more
