This place is terrific. My mom & I had brunch there. Our waiter Raul was excellent & so was the manager. They both made us felt... like we were home sitting at our kitchen table shooting the breeze while getting lost in time. I don't want to forget how tastythe food was & plentiful! Thanks Cosmic Diner for giving our day a great start!???????????? Read more

Insanely fast service. Wish they stayed open later, cause the few times I?ve tried to come after a show, they?ve been closed.... Enormous salad with perfectly cooked salmon and chicken. Read more

This is a great old-school diner and not as touristy as the ones nearby. The meatloaf and mashed potatoes are comfort food 101... and the reuben does New York proud. I saw some complaints that this place is pricey, but it is definitely cheaper than some ofthe others in the neighborhood and the portions are huge. Two people can easily split a plate. I recommend checking this placeout. Read more

Made my sandwich exactly how I liked it. Me and my partner couldn't remember the name of this diner, we visited 1 yr ago, but we... vaguely remembered the route. We were so happy to find it again, we sat at the bar area and it's always a good time. The serverthere, or probably the owner is so much fun. We'll be back ! Read more

This was standard diner fair. The staff were friendly and direct as you expect in NYC. It was no frills. The menu was a little... pricier then expected but I figured if I was going to spend that much I might as well have steak. Everything was cooked toperfection. It was easy getting a seat here on Sunday for brunch. Read more

I wanted to like the place because the location is convenient and the look and feel of it, is quite nice? BUT alas the food is... extremely overpriced for the quality and the taste. The hash browns tasted frozen/microwaved and the eggs Benedict hollandaisesauce I?m sure came from a bottle because it tasted bland. To add to a bad food experience the waiter gave us our bill and addedthe total up wrong causing it to be 20 dollars over charge. It?s a good thing we did the math ourselves and realized he?dovercharged us, but how many people don?t double check or personally add up their total? Most don?t. Check your bill here ?TWICE. Convenient to my hotel I figured it was worth a try. Decent menu, seated without waiting, and not rushed. Service good. My hub... had an omelet that was typical and I had challah French toast also typical price $14. Add on for real maple syrup. Just aregular place with NY prices to relax in while eating breakfast. Best BLT I?ve ever had! Huge sandwich stuffed with bacon, lettuce and tomato. No sad and greasy portions here. Great value for... $10 in NYC. I love how bustling the place is too. Great quality and ambiance. Read more
