Decent food. Sat in a booth that was a little tight for and average size person. Service was quick and friendly. Food was good,... I had a half rack of ribs that were very tender that I could pull the meat off the bones using a fork. My kid had a steak thatwas ok (remember it's a BBQ spot not a steakhouse). Parking was difficult, no legal street parking. if you are driving herethere is a parking garage around the corner but they're only cash. Read more

After having been to the Original Dinosaur BBQ in Syracuse & Rochester the atmosphere is not as cool & eclectic. Same goes for... Buffalo, Troy, Newark NJ. The buildings they find & history of them are great & you will find similar paintings in each one. Thefood is always good & fresh. No matter where you travel, you know it's a good meal. Always worth a stop. Read more

The only reason I gave a 4 and not a 5 stars because of the parking. However the food is delicious. And the price is reasonable.... 3 meats and 2 sides for $23/$28... the portion size is worth it. I recommend the Brisket and Ribs. The Bartender Carlos wasvery entertaining and hooked up the drinks. Read more

It has been more than 10 years since our last visit at Dinosaur Bar-B-Que! They have the best chicken wings I ever have and was... really looking forward to it again! Was really worried about the quality may have changed since.. but it was awesome! We ordereda few items but they are good but I get similar quality those BBQ items elsewhere. So at the end just decided to go withadditional order chicken wings! It's a chicken wings dinner at the end. Read more

Must try!!! We all order something different to try a little bit of everything. Started with the fried green tomatoes which were... cooked perfectly and the dipping sauce makes you want to drink it. Pulled pork and ribs were juicy! The Cuban was on point. Macn cheese was a little different than what we’re use to but still very creamy. Baked beans are a must and the corn bread wasthe best corn bread I’ve had! Clean restaurant, friendly staff, and close to the Hudson River for a nice walk after you eat. Read more

Unexpectedly good BBQ in NYC. The ribs were falling off the bone. The brisket was moist and tasty. The hot link was spicy... but not overly so. The mac & cheese was a hit with the kids. The drinks were tasty as well. The only fault would be theyover sat our waitress. She had a table of 6 plus two tables of 3. After taking our order she was given a table of 8 a tableof 10 and 2 tables of 4. That’s just too much for one waitress to manage efficiently. She did her best but no one gotquick efficient service. Dinosaur BBQ is a cute spot to stop in for some good BBQ food. Family-oriented restaurant and good for date nights as... well. Hostess and wait staff are very friendly and nice. Drinks were spot on, the appetizers were yummy and the entrees werereally good. I had to take a doggy bag because I couldn't finish it all in one sitting. All in all, I'll be a returningcostumer. I've had their sauces in the bottle and was always a big fan. Didn't even know they had a restaurant in the city until recently... and I'm glad I went. Super filling for the price. The wings were delicious. Everything was, really! Not exactly the healthiestor most nutritious meal - maybe hold off on the sodium to compensate for this - but dang tasty. Very good service as well.
