Unfortunate to type this— poor & regretful experience. I was there on a date, we got there & the server lists off the brunch... drink options that are not listed anywhere, so all verbal, & she says them quickly. And I didn’t gather it right away, I beginto kindly ask her for elaboration & to repeat herself & she walks ways speedily. She wasn’t trying to be rude but the poorservice is rude and wasn’t a good start. We ordered drinks- I order orange juice. She brings it over touching the rim Of theglass with her hands & it’s spilling as she is walking at a fast pace. I of course ask for a straw. At this time it wasn’ttoo busy, there were only 2 other tables - both which had completed dining and about to leave. Then we order our meals, eggsBenedict. With home fries. My girlfriend ordered her eggs over medium, i took them as poached. She verbally repeated back ourorders to us correctly. My girlfriend’s eggs came out poached - the server doesn’t make mention of it until I bring it upreminding the server my girlfriend asked for over medium eggs. She says sorry they are over medium poached. Server doesn’toffer to fix it nor change it. My girlfriend just says it’s ok, and we proceed to eat. The home fires were cold as well aseverything on the plate being lukewarm. I didn’t eat my food. Neither did my girlfriend. At the end of the meal- I asked theserver for another orange juice. 3 minutes goes by, she walks by & takes another table’s drink order. - then brings out drinksfor the tables next to us, 6 drinks. & she walks past our table. No mention of the orange juice— I’m just sitting therepatiently waiting, giving the benefit of the doubt, which I have been doing the moment I walked in. Unfortunately. I didn’tremind my server about the orange juice - I was honestly just waiting to see if she would ever remember. Some odd 10 minutespass & she finally brings me the orange juice. No apology for the tardiness & forgetfulness. Upon wanting to depart.. I kindlyask th Read more

UES is packed with pubs, but Doc Watsons stands out for the quality of the food. It’s flavorful and very reasonable, probably... the best in the area for its type. Good draft and drink selection as well. Read more

Good beer selection. Nice spot to people watch. We had the nachos and the Margherita Flatbread and it was alright :)

The service staff did not seem to care about us one bit. We had to wait twenty minutes after being seated and then go up to... check if we needed to order at the bar, the food was decent but super overpriced for what it was Read more

I’m glad someone recommended this place. Coz we always go to McLean avenue to get the proper Irish breakfast. This is a decent... one. $22.50 for fixed brunch with 2 free drinks was a great deal! I wish they use the nicer sausages from the Irish shopbutcher. Read more

Nice brunch spot, with a fixed price of 18$ and two drinks. The food is pretty good and there’s quite a wide choice of things.... It is quite clean and it’s a nice pub. Staff is nice although our waiter kept stressing us to leave (it was quite empty) Ialways take the avocados and toast, today was the first time that my eggs on top were over cooked, but our waiter took care ofit rapidly and it was delicious as usual. Very hospitable and full of locals. We were in a seating area that wasn't quite the bar or quite a table and everyone was... willing to jump in and help us. Nice happy hour deals and daily specials. My girlfriend just moved to this neighborhood and Ican see this being a regular casual watering hole! Read more

Lovely staff and an enjoyable atmosphere. Was previously styled as an Irish pub but has changed to more of an upscale bar, great... place for watching sports or having a relaxing lunch with a pint in NYC. Read more
