Absolutely loved this place! One of the best penne alla vodka's I've had since living in NYC. Great service and atmosphere. Went... with a party of 6 and we all left clean plates. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area and we would definitely comeback. Read more

Fantastic Italian food and great service, I especially recommend pizza with fig, arrugola, goat cheese and pear as well as... classical lasagne Italian style. Special thanks and greetings to great Israeli Manager - Shai! Read more

Excellent food and great service. I'm so glad we came across this place, our family of six adults had probably one of our best... meals during our four day weekend in the City. We were looking for a late lunch after a walking tour of the area. Our firststop was Artichoke Basille's Pizza. They were very busy with only a few tables open. When we walked in and requested a tablefor six, the host said they could not accommodate a party of that size. Which was strange because a table for six was beingcleared right in front of us and no one was in line behind us. Even when we offered to break into two groups of three and sit atthe couple of open tables outside the host still said he could not seat us. Not really sure what the deal was with thehost. I'm so glad Artichoke was too busy to serve us. This gave us the opportunity to walk up the street and find this greatrestaurant. At Don Giovanni's we were welcomed by the staff and walked right in and sat down. We ordered three different smallpizzas, a couple of salads, and pasta dishes. We ate family style sharing all of the different and tasty dishes. The atmosphereof Don Giovanni's was so relaxed and refreshing. As we were wrapping up our lunch the restaurant was empty and the kitchen staffwas starting to eat their lunch at the tables behind us. They were friendly and we had a nice conversation with them about therestaurant's menu and the off menu dishes they were eating. The next time we are in the City we definitely will eat at DonGiovanni's again. The pizza was excellent, the pasta great, the watermelon-feta-arugula salad was excellent, and the staff wasgreat. Always a pleasure! We hit Don Giovanni's before a concert with a large group and they were so accommodating and service with... Shiva was prompt and easy. We got three large pies, penne a la vodka, two salads and some appetizers and everyone had more thanenough to eat and loved their choices. The cannolis and tiramisu were the perfect ending to a fun dinner out. Thanks! We'll beback for sure. Read more

The food was incredible! There were so many great options that it was hard to choose. Fortunately, I went with a party of 4 so... we had a nice variety at the table. Two of the people in my party were vegetarian and still had plenty of options to choosefrom. The pizza is great! Perfect crust and high quality ingredients. Premium NY pizza! The lasagna was so good! Very cheesyand flavorful. Again, the quality ingredients make a difference. The truffle Alfredo was pretty good. We added grilled chickenand that was also really good all by itself. The servers were also nice and accommodating. Tip: we ordered a side of sausageand it came in a bowl of marinara sauce. Both the meat and the sauce was incredible. I couldn't stop nibbling on it! The foodwas so good, we wanted to return again during our trip but couldn't get reservations. This is now on my goto spots in NY list. Read more

Excellent service. The pizzas are honestly pretty run off the mill. Personally didn't enjoy the fig and pear pizza all that much... but the mozzarella sticks are good. The atmosphere is really what sells the place. The founder was a theater person and theplace is covered with memorabilia, photos and the like. They have a cute outdoor place during winters. Yes there are betterpizza places in the city but this does the job of you're in the area. It's right off the highline and is a decent alternative toartichoke pizza close by, though I don't think they cater to similar audiences. Read more

Amazing experience! The food was 10/10! Delicious pizza, great crust. The service was so fast and servers were very friendly. We... were pleasantly surprised by the whole experience how good all the food was and great value. We even tried one of the soupspecials and were shocked how delicious! We got some cannolis on the house which we could tell were freshly made. Highlyrecommend! Read more
