Ed's Lobster Bar was one of our favorite stops in the city! This cozy little spot on the corner has the friendliest staff, and,... of course, the most delicious lobster!???? The tuna tartare served with warm zucchini chips was the perfect appetizer on a cool, rainy day. The lobster roll was overflowing with meat and the lobster Mac and cheese was a lighter cheese sauce thatcomplimented how rich the lobster was. Our waiter also shared local recommendations that helped make our long weekend evenbetter! We'll definitely be back next time we visit NYC!???????? Read more

I’m so disappointed to write this review as I have been a huge Ed’s fan for years; I used to recommend it to anyone I knew... visiting NYC. I hadn’t been to the city since Fall 2019, so this was the first time I’ve been in a long time. I’ve alwaysloved the lobster ravioli. Tonight not only was the sauce not as tasty, but the lobster in the ravioli tasted more fishy. I’llsay, it was still pretty good, but nothing like it used to be. The lobster nachos were terrible. No lobster for starters, andthen it was just greasy, kinda stale chips with a sub par cheese sauce, tons of tomatoes, and canned jalapeños. Lobster Mac andcheese: terrible. Bland sauce and I know that “some people” love it, but we didn’t like the green brains that had spreadacross the lobster. The lobster wasn’t good; it was stringy and mushy. Lobster roll, wow, how was this also bad? Tasted likethere was lime juice in it…There was this sharp acidic taste that didn’t belong. It’s so expensive for mediocre food. Whata bummer; I’ll miss the good Ed’s! Read more

The lobster roll was delicious! Nice spot for a quick bite. Not much of a decor or ambiance inside. Lobster roll is market price... which today was $35 + tax and tip so all said and done $45+ each. Also no happy hour on Fridays :( Pro tip: don’t sitoutside. If you do, you’ll be sitting over a subway grate with hot smelly air blowing. Go for indoor seating. Read more

Good lobster roll by all standards. But, priced about $8 higher than average. Service was attentive, sincere and just great! The... outstanding dish is the lobster ramen! Go for it. I almost forgot, the mojitos are made very well. Read more

My first time here - guys were awesome and very welcoming, but while they were nice they missed our order…. So we waited too... long even for just a lobster roll… Lobster ramen - something unusual and for such place I thought and decided to try - for $30I had just a small peace of lobster… very surprised, but maybe that was the plan))) Overall a little bit pricy, mostly liketouristic place Read more

Lobster roll is great! The fries have the perfect crunch, the red wine vinegar pickles are great. The lobster roll is mayo based... (light, not too creamy), light chives and pepper, a hint of lemon after taste. The bread is perfectly buttered and toasted onthe outside. Read more

First time here and I like the service provided tonight. Handsome waiter took care of us. We ordered a bunch of apps with the... unlimited mussels monday deal. While we ordered the mini lobster rolls, garlic Parmesan wings, fried calamari and Frenchfries…the wings were sadly over powered by the garlic and Parmesan. But the calamari, rolls and mussels were great. But bewarned, if you sit at the back of the restaurant, you may not get cell signal lol. Read more
