Reviews for Electric Burrito in New York, NY
Their burrito is so filling, honestly I am not big fan of fries. But I enjoy California burrito which has fries and like to add... chipotle (?) sauce they provided. ???? Read more
I lived in San Diego for 7 years and including a lot of time spent in Mexico, this place is the best burrito on the east coast.... I've searched far and wide through the trash assortment of wannabee east coast Mexican food - and I will search no more. TheirCali burrito is spot on, their tortilla is spot on, and their Pico and fries are perfectly paired. I would recommend this placeover anything in the NYC metro area. It's simple, it's wrapped in yellow paper, and it tastes great. Salsa is good too. Read more
The burritos lived up to the hype. I got the Hot Rod with carne asada, bacon, egg, cheese, beans and fries, and it was delicious... and incredibly filling. Great if you're hungry or hungover, and craving for something greasy and savory. One of the best in NewYork. Read more
The California burrito with french fries in it was awesome! A great idea and great execution as well. The shrimp burrito was... also very good and tasted like hints of Indian cuisine to me, very cool! Read more
I?m not a burrito person but @electricburritonyc really was pretty yummy! Who can say no to fries!? (Not the most healthy thing... I know?) Tortilla was average but the fries/cheese/sauce/protein combo went really well together???? Very filling and quiteheavy, so even just half of it was enough for me as lunch. Read more

Large portions and interesting menu, but I wish the ingredients were placed better in the burrito. The shrimp burrito had a lot... of dry rice and then the sauce was on the other end. I?ll give them another try though! Read more
Electric Burrito came recommended from a Californian native that said this is his personal favorite burrito in New York. I came... for Saturday takeout lunch with my boyfriend, and we split the Carnitas California Burrito ($12) and Carne Asada Fries ($14).Everything was well executed ? tender, generous portions of carnitas, and the optimal meat/carb/cheese/sauce/salsa ratio. Iliked the burrito?s creamy chipotle house sauce and the guacamole on the fries was very fresh. Portions are generous, and wewere sooo full and still had leftovers. Only complaint was that the food took awhile, even though we had called ahead with ourorder; they seem pretty leanly staffed. Note it is mostly a pick-up/takeout spot as there is limited countertop bar seating. Read more
