I stopped in on a random Sunday late in the afternoon, and the place was very quiet. We were the only ones in the restaurant,... but it was very lovely. The atmosphere: is a modern restaurant feel; you wouldn’t know you were in a taqueria. The staff:was friendly, and the service was quick. The food: was good. Nice location; weird smell when entering the restaurant. It didn’t smell like food. We had drinks which were good-ish. We got... the 7 salsas which all had a thick, ketchup like texture. And I mean, they weren’t that great. And then we got the heirloomtomatoes w/ buttermilk and corn. I’m not sure what that was about. It looked like a bowl of mayo with the smallest slices ofthe smallest heirloom tomatoes one could ever find or eat. The chicken and shrimp tacos were great. Not worth the money. And thelamb tasted not so great. Mexican food in NYC is not great in general. But this was mediocre and expensive. Charging $8 a tacois insane. I hope everyone gets a living wage working at this restaurant because the flavors/size just weren’t there. Read more

A neat restaurant with a cool vibe. The food is fresh but not tasty. The drinks are Ok. The food and drinks are overpriced.
Nice vibe, has potential to be great, food took forever (about 1h for our 3 tacos to arrive), taste was okay (arrived cold).... Tacos are $8-12 each and drinks $15-25.. guacamole seemed good, we had the seven salsas and it was a cool experience mixingthem. Service at the bar is so great! Caesar always makes sure we have a good time. The Smokey cashew dip sauce is amazing!!
