I only had time to visit one teahouse on this visit to NYC, and I am so thankful I chose Floating Mountain. Incredible tea, a... beautiful, peaceful setting, and a lovely gong fu session with an extremely knowledgeable and friendly host. Extensive selection of teas from China brewed the right way, tastes as complex as a good book or cocktail. The environment was... very clean, respectful, shoes off when you first come in. Tried 2 different tea service within the allotted 90 minute. Overall the service and ambiance was great. The server pours the... hot water for infusion. Only the server can pour the water. The times between each infusion was too long. Wish we could haveenjoyed more. So many great tea options; however would have liked maybe a top 10 tea list. Menu was hard to navigate. Read more
