As close as it gets when it comes to Taipei food stalls in NYC! The beef noodle is chewy (in a good way) which is pretty rare... these day. The beef is cooked perfectly but the soup has an interesting mushroom taste to it - I like it but it?s not what I?mexpecting from a traditional braise - can also use more supplements in the soup. The popcorn chicken is pretty good andalthough it could be more chewy I think it?s the best in NYC. The braise platter is okay. Lacks some flavor but the beef tripeswas soft and flavorful. Read more

I've eaten here twice in the past couple of months: the beef noodle soup and dry beef noodles are very, very good, the soup... broth has really deep flavor, the noodles nice and chewy. I?m from Taiwan so I was super excited to try out this place! Overall it was good, but missing something in the taste. However,... price was ok! Pork belly was good but slightly dried. But I appreciate the egg and veg they served together. Pork feet didn?ttaste that good tbh. I felt how they flavor was not that impressive and a liiiitle bit weird.
