For 2 adults we ordered 2 siders and one main dish: Humus with Fava beans, Kibbe and Kofte Kebab. The portions were very... generous and it was perfectly enough. Even though we were full we didn’t want to miss out on the dessert, Kunefe. I had betterKunefes in Turkey but this was also okay. Overall clean place and food was delicious. The employees were also friendly. Read more

I came here because I was craving babaganoush, but another dish stole the show. I’ve never really understood the appeal of... tahini - in my experience, it’s meek, almost tasteless with the possible afterthought of peanuts. But Gazala’s slapped me inmy mouth and made me completely reevaluate what I’ve been eating. That slop I’ve always considered tahini was just a poorimitation. REAL tahini - GAZALA’S tahini - is smooth, rich, aromatic, and very distinctly sesame. My eyes have been opened, and my palate has been cultured. Read more

I love mediterranean cuisines and this druze-israeli restaurant was very nice. The food and service were good, but the prices... were very expensive for what you get. The hummus plate with shawarma was a very generous dish that two people can share (wedid). The salad had too much parsley in it and was pretty small for its price. Read more

Great Israeli food - actually it's Druze Israeli who are their own Arab Islamic-spinoff ethnicity that is worth learning about -... kabobs, schwarma, humus, tahini, pita, etc. - as you'd expect at any Middle Eastern restaurant. The roasted eggplant appetizerwas a task treat! Service is attentive and the have alcohol now (prior Columbus Ave location was BYOB) Read more

$45 with tax Sundsy brunch for 2 - grilled chicken and shawarma chicken wraps, fries, cucumber salad, drinks and dessert was... more than worth it. In general usually not a wrap fan, but they must have made the flatbread because it was thin, tasty andstretchy and actually added to the taste. Everything was really good. We sat outside under the awning that is open on all sides, but also a few feet from pedestrians. Read more

TLDR- place was ok, food tastes good for the most part but that specific day wasn’t a good day for this restaurant. We got... there on a very cold Saturday early dinner (5:30pm) in January. The place was empty (but they were busy doing deliveries fromwhat I could tell), and it was very cold inside. I believe the heat wasn’t on because we sat in our table with our coatspretty much the entire time. The food was fine. We order the mezze platter and the cigars didn’t feel fresh like they werejust fried (I know middle eastern cigars), they felt like they were just warmed it up for a little bit. The babaganush, falafelthe rest were delicious and felt fresh. We also ordered the burekas with goat cheese and sun dried tomatoes- that was cold fromthe inside. I could tell that they just took it out of the freezer. For dessert we got the Knafe which was tasty but differentstyle than I’m used to. I came here after getting recommendations, and even though my experience wasn’t the best and alsopricy, I left there unimpressed. However, I will still come back to give them another chance because the menu is intriguing andthere were a few things I still want to try. I feel like they were understaffed or something and the food wasn’t that goodthat that specific day but on better days, it’ll be much better. Read more

Plenty of vegetarian options, attentive staff and tasty dishes! We loved the boureka (spinach-cheese) and the house babaganoush... and hummus, both of which had distinct tastes. The roasted eggplant was also delicious, although a bit on the cheesy side forour tastes. Read more
