Never been to NYC before was told to go visit Grimaldi 's. Definitely impressed with the staff and food. I got the Italian... pizza with pepperoni added. It was so hot and good. Came here for a quick bite. Had the Margherita pizza which tasted good. I did have an unpleasant experience with our waitress... (accidentally shown in picture), as we were eating she came out no where and said here?s your bill. We weren?t even done eatingour OR drinking our wine. We actually weren?t even done ordering. I?ve never felt like I was being rushed out of anestablishment until here. When I asked Our waitress for her name she said her name was Stephanie. She was pretty sarcastic andrude during my visit on the night of august 19th . It was still 1 hour and a half until closing time and it was not busy here soI?m not sure what the issue was, but we felt unwelcomed. After that interaction she came a few minutes later and asked if weneeded a to-go box, again we were still eating so at this point we told her we no. I didn?t like the after hours pizza we ordered. The pairing of the sour tasting chilis with the truffle honey just doesn?t seem... right. At least the calzone was nice. The place feels cramped and not well kept. Read more

The inside of the place is such a vibe, it?s really cozy and the inside is blue at night (haven?t been during the day). The... server was really sweet and knowledgeable about the menu. The pizza was good but just not the best I?ve ever had in NY. Theprices are pretty high but they offer a variety of options so you can truly customize to your liking just be mindful that it?s$2-$3 per topping. The alcohol selection is pretty small and the wine isn?t great but the overall experience is really sweet. Read more
The photos speak for themselves. Our office ordered 3 pies through grubhub and we were only 6 blocks away. It looks like they... dropped the pizza. It also is not the first time that I have gotten cold pizza from them in past deliveries. I think the placewas amazing before because the ingredients are fresh high quality and so is the dough, but management is poor. I always wantedto try the entire menu since it has so many creative pies and desserts but at this point they lost a loyal customer. I had tofight grubhub and the restaurant for an explanation and this restaurant refused to work with grubhub to send new pies. Soooo disappointing. Think of NYC and Pizza and Grimaldi's has to be the answer. We visited this restaurant - perhaps the... others are better. Service was so slow. We had to ask three times to get a glass of water. We ordered a topping of anchovies onpour pizza and it wasn't until it was served that were told they were out of anchovies. How can a pizza restaurant run out ofanchovies? When the pizza did arrive the edges were okay but the centre was soggy and uncooked. How can you serve that in awood-fired oven pizza restaurant? When the waiter gave us the check he made a big thing of not charging us $4 for the anchovieswe didn't get! So disappointing. Read more
