Had a wonderful meal here after leaving a place two doors down that we had to wait almost an hour to get in, which was very... noisy and turned out to have a limited rather precious menu. So glad we left and came here. We were seated at a cozy table inthe back and the women that served us were terrific. Ordered du bu gobdol and oking uh bokum, both delicious and spicy. Plussome soju, white wine, and terrific banchan. Bustling, busy Wednesday but relaxing and not overly loud. Can’t wait to go back. Read more
Stepped in as our hotel was nearby, as a fan of the Korean kitchen, we were pleasantly surprised by the tasty food we got here.... One of our travel accompanies did not like Korean food, so he ordered the Fried Rice, but for that plate at $17 it felt wayoverpriced. The rest was all good! Read more
Very good experience. Their hot stone bowls were absolutely sizzling so the bibimpap was excellent. The kimchi is great. It... feels like this is a solid choice out of the area. I don't understand why meat in Korean town is so expensive though. We are inAmerica and not in Korea so the premium for it doesn't make sense. Read more
Good Korean restaurant with lots of choices on the menu. Reasonably priced. Very friendly staff and attentive service. Food is... on par with most K town restaurants. Food is good, but not outstanding. Extensive menu choices. Has good lunch specials. Greatrestaurant for family with young kids. Would recommend this place! Read more
Some of the best Korean food in NYC. The Kimchi stew is to die for, amazing!!! I prefer the larger version than the mini because... it comes with rice cakes, but both are amazing and the mini is a nice complement to the lunch special. Kimchi pancakes were alsodelicious. The lunch special is very well priced considering the ban chan are endless and you get two full meals with rice. Theservers are also super sweet and attentive. New go to spot for me :) Read more
My husband served in Korea when he was younger, and he really wanted to try this restaurant after we walked past the day before.... We were delighted with the food! Very good Korean food. The serves is a little rushed to get the order, but food came really quick. It will takes years of work... to get the food done like this. The Do Ga Ni Tang had the ox-knee cooked exactly what it is needed: not too soft, but should notbe chewy. Simply delicious. Read more
