the food is just bad it taste like it had been sitting there all day then popped into the oven or microwave to serve. no wonder... it came out so quick! only the sashimi was good, the cooked food was just nothing good. oh the drinks were good too the ramensoup flavorless the katsu was mushy on the bottom when we just got it, it was served in a warm bowl so i just know it wasreheated w/ the rice. the katsu tasted pretty good but the mushy mess just threw me off. especially at the HIGH price they arecharging. the food shouldn?t be reheated after sitting on the side. rice cake was just eh, not a fan of their sauce. thepancake wasn?t good either everything looked really pretty but didn?t taste like it?s appearance and high price. two starsbecause the service was good, lady was really nice and the ambiance was great. cute place and nice music, but i wouldn?t comeagain just for those two points. id rather have good food!!! Such a great place to try if you love Japanese or Korean food, mainly have more Japanese dishes! I got the fried shrimp udon... soup which was delicious and was a decent size bowl! The ambiance of the restaurant was super nice as it had a nice Japaneseaesthetic. The prices were a bit pricey for me, but overall a nice experience! Read more

You can't go wrong with any of the restaurants at the KTown strip. The space was nicely decorated, with mirror walls where you... get to admire yourself and your company while eating- lol. We ordered a special roll and a noodle entrée to share and it wasmore than enough. The Kimono roll not only looked beautiful, it was also delicious! We really enjoyed the tempura battered sideveggies. The batter was light, crunchy, honestly the best I've ever had. Service was forgettable. Read more

Was very hot outside and the air conditioning inside wasn't very cool. Located right in K-Town so the prices are about 2x what... they'd be anywhere else, quality is decent. Service is decent. Good selection of liquors. Wouldn't return personally. Read more

Seems there was only one waitress and one cook working, very understaffed, service was so so at best, waitress never flashed a... smile the entire time we were there, looked very tired and bothered, same goes for the cook when asked for service, coldlyreplied, "Your waitress is coming..." food was okay. If people working are not happy working there and don't want to be there, maybe we shouldn't either. That was my impression. Read more

As a Katsu aficionado I was disappointed in their offering: a bland chiken portion composed of a brittle/tenuous panko paired... with slimy curry. To thrive in K-town, restaurants must step up their game. Competition is far too strong to be offering subparmeals at this price point on such a busy street. Ambiance felt a bit tacky as it was made up of a mish-mash of materials andtexture that all felt unresolved. Kitchen looked unkempt and disorganized; and the bathroom was unsanitary. Service wasacceptable. If you absolutely must eat, stopping here won?t hurt, but if you are looking for a noteworthy meal you won?t findit in the Katsu nor in the atmosphere. Read more

I came here for dinner with some friends. The waiters were very friendly and helped suggest some dishes that they recommend. The... food was pretty standard for Korean dishes, and it was nice that you were able to adjust your personal spice level. I might comeagain if I?m in the area. Read more

It?s alright. The food we got was just ?meh,? you can see in my pics that the tempura was poorly made and the gyoza were like... Korean mandu when this is supposed to be a Japanese resturant? It?s strange, it?s a Japanese resturant in the middle of K-townthat seems confused about its identity - the menu is a weird mix of Korean and Japanese food and is way too big and difficult tonavigate. The service was slow and impersonal. It?s also expensive, each sushi roll was at least $15 (the California roll coststhe same as their specialty rolls). This is probably why it was so empty on a Saturday night but I wouldn?t come back. Read more
