Honestly, was disappointed. The restaurant itself looked nice and was clean. Service was mediocre. We got a water pitcher and we... waited a while until we just had to ask to have it refilled. I came with my boyfriend and another friend and they put everythingon one check. When asked to separate the bill, they said they couldn’t do it. Like, what? Food itself was alright. Tastedfine but definitely overpriced. Read more

Average food on the more expensive side. The really good thing for brunch was their waffles. Super sweet and delicious. Would... definitely order that again. Everything else did not stand out. Cute place though! Read more

This place was great! Seated quickly and waitstaff was super attentive. Food and drinks were great and we were in and out so... quick! Highly recommend an espresso martini!! The pulled pork eggs Benny was also to die for(with a perfectly runny egg!!) Willdef recommend to friends visiting the area and will stop back next time I’m in the city! Read more

Was looking for a breakfast place close to our hotel and this one had great recommendations. When we arrived, there wasn't a... wait and got sat right away towards the back of the restaurant. Our server was really nice, and she was funny when brining ourdrinks and there was a slight spill. We joked that we needed $0.13 taken off the bill for this and she joked back with us. Ordered coffee, espresso and mimosas along with Smoked Salmon Lox Toast & Avocado Smash with a side of bacon. Neitherdisappointed and were the right amount of food to not be stuffed buy satisfied. They have a pretty extensive brunch menu forweekends and if I lived closer would definitely come back to try other items....particularly the Bloody Mary. Read more

We went to Hole In The Wall for dinner recently and had a mixed experience. What we liked: Really nice atmosphere & outdoor... seating area. Excellent French fries. I really liked their house beer! Only $5 too. Thick cut bacon on the burger. Service wasgood. Good aioli (came with the appetizer) What we didn't like: -Salt and Pepper squid wasn't fresh -- we're pretty sure thatit was under a heating lamp or something for a while. It was also super dry and chewy...you can even see it in the picture. Thebowl also looked to be about half full. -I asked for the skirt steak to be cooked medium, it was pretty rare. It also came outroom temp but was still tender. -My girlfriend asked for the burger well done -- it was more medium. Her and I disagree on how aburger should be cooked but I digress... -We both found the entrees to be underwhelming overall. Prices are typical NYC (read:expensive). Read more

This was the perfect spot for a late afternoon work session and dessert :) The space is beautiful and cozy with large plants and... great music. Our server, Ni’esa, was wonderful and took the best care of us. Definitely looking forward to returning soon! Read more

Don't let the name fool you, this restaurant is all class. The first thing we noticed was the music! They were playing early... 2000s to late '10s hip hop and R&B. The smoked salmon lox toast was deliciously textured and the flavors mixed together well. The crust was slightly too soft and difficult to cut with a butter knife. The Hole in wall waffles tastes like apple pie. Notoverly sweet and the caramelized sugar makes a satisfying cruch...perfection The Cheezey Burger was good but was unfortunatelyoverly well done. But the flavors were all there and it paired well with the sweet potato fries. The feeling of nostalgiacombined with the meal to create an emotional attachment to the food. You should definitely eat here. Read more

They don't take reservations for brunch, and we walked into an extremely packed place for a Sunday brunch at 12:40 pm and were... lucky to be seated in a comfortable table for 6 towards the backend of the restaurant. They have really good outdoor (covered)seating as well with enough heat lamps installed on the ceiling. Noise level was average and you are welcomed by a very friendlystaff. We ordered some hot beverages for the table and it felt like they were severely understaffed because the service wasextremely slow. It took close to 20 minutes for us to get our coffees and tea, and another 40 minutes to get our main courseswhich included an Impossibly Good Burger ($19), Wild Mushroom Toast ($19), Chili Scrambled Eggs with Avocado ($21), and PulledPork Benedict with Bacon ($21). My impossibly good burger was actually quite good and the impossible patty was seasoned welland had a nice layer of melted pepper jack cheese on it. It also comes with fries and I got the sweet potato fries instead ofregular fries at no extra cost - slightly heavily salted. The only thing I did not particularly enjoy was the onions, tomatoes, and lattice were cold. There were some issues with the food, but the staff was kind enough to take off that specific item fromour check, for which I specifically give an extra star! Very rare to see in these CV-19 days! While the staff is friendly andwere apologetic for the delay in service, service was quite slow. We waited for over half an hour for our beverage and foodorders. Having said that - the food overall was quite delicious and we might definitely give them another try at their otherlocations! Read more
