My family and I always made a point of going to Il Mulino when we were in Vegas (it's no longer there). So when we were looking... for a nice restaurant during our visit to NYC to take friends to, we decided to try the midtown location. It was surprisinglyspacious for a NY restaurant. The service was great and the food was terrific. It was a very different experience than theformer Vegas location, but still a great restaurant. I am Italian, so I am very critical of Italian food, having had a familyfull of great cooks. This is the real deal! Read more

Last minute walk and late at night accommodations for 2 people one by wheelchair! Assisted outside, one slight step up to... seating, slight adjustment of table for a nicer view. Then... out came the full dinner with appetizers and we'll selectedwines! Amazing service, delicious meal and absolutely fun atmosphere! Read more

So good! Avoid this place if you are on a diet because everything looks and taste good. The nibbles are great. The starters were... amazing as we tried the burrata, the scallops, the calamari and the ham. Mains were out of this world as we tried the fish ofthe day, a lamb chop and the mushrooms. Deserts are equally good, with a tasty tiramissu but the surprise was the chocolatecake. Service was very nice. Overal, we had a fantastic experience and I highly recommend this place. Read more

On Friday night this was the only place which had empty tables, we should have think why. The only good things in this place... were cocktails, complimentary platter and burrata special. Service was slow, even place was almost empty. Tuna tartare andpasta were ok. Nothing special. Close to Italian deli quality. But their special with raw scallops was really bad. Not only italmost had no flavor, no spices, no salt, nothing. But it was advertised as scallops with salmon roe! First you could countamount of roe pearls - it was probably 10-15 of them, second : it wasn’t chewable. I could bite it and even tried to smash itwith fork on my plate - couldn’t do it! It was that hard. I assumed it wasn’t fresh. I left 2/3 of the dish on the plate -and told person who picked it up that it wasn’t good, he said you will tell the manager. We asked for the bill and the dishwas there. Not only the price was higher than mentioned by waiter - but I barely had it. No apologies. No offers to makesomething else. Just silence. When I came to talk to the manager, he started to argue, that all products are fresh, and startedto teach me how I should tell them about my opinion. Rude. Not helpful. If you would like to have some cocktails and cheese andyou are not in a rush - it’s a good place to stop by. Travel even 10 min to this place isn’t worth it. The street is full ofbetter quality restaurants. For better price. Read more
