Nice espresso and coffee shop in Hudson Yards. The coffee is somewhat on the strong side compared to Starbucks and way... stronger/harsher than bluebottle. However there was no line or waiting, and it felt like a family run shop rather than a bigchain. Read more

really rude staff, the man initially greeted us by saying he would be with us in a moment, then when he got my order wrong he... shouted at me for interrupting his conversation with a friend who had come into the cafe. Visited the Hudson Yards coffee shop on 9/25. This is the worst experience I have ever had in a coffee shop in NYC. I lady at... the cash register was very polite but the two staff members( one girl and one guy) making the coffee were very rude. I orderedfor a mocha and when I received it and took a sip, I found the coffee to be very bitter and so I requested one of the staffmembers to put some milk into the coffee to tone it down a little. They didn't want to put in some milk in the coffee. They gaveme such a hard time with it. For some reason, just weren't interested in servicing me. They first told me that I had to waittill they finish what they were doing and then they told me that I would be charged for the little milk/cream I was asking for. I asked to speak to the manager and they were pointing at each other like they were some kids. I have never ever come acrossanything like this where a coffee shop charges for cream in the coffee. I don't mind paying for the cream but they should havebeen a little polite with me. I believe in karma and I know that the two employees with this attitude will not go very far inlife. If the coffee shop doesn't reign in such employees, then it is definitely destined for failure in a cut throat market likeNYC. I plan on never going back to Jack's again and will ensure that none of my friends and family do as well. Will stick toStarbucks. Also, made a huge mistake of tipping them when I ordered. Oh well. Great place for coffee and exceptional staff. I grab a cup to go quite often. I also enjoy the Mayan Mocha, it is infused with... nutmeg, cocoa and cayenne. It's good but made better by topping it off with some cinnamon. Jack's also offer a few specialtyfood items for enjoying with your coffee and for taking home to enjoy. Read more

Very rude staff?. It was the first time that I saw a staff of a coffee shop yelling at the customer. When you asked for a straw,... the staff was very impatient. The facial expression is like, excuse me? Why do you ask this stupid question? We do not havestraw here. Also, when I tried to get some syrupy, the staff yelled at me loudly saying that I violated their health code?.I wastotally shocked by how rude the staff was? Worst experience. Read more
