I had a nice dinner date with my girlfriend in the city and I must say it was a fulfilling meal we had. She had the bacon, and... eggs on a biscuit it came with a side of grits. I had the honey chicken and waffles on a biscuit with a side of grits. As anappetizer, we had a good cheddar biscuit. Whiskey flight as drinks but it wasn't labeled on the board which one we were having.Overall, great service, good homily vibes, and big portions. They weren't joking when they said it's big portions. Wow! Love love love this place. High energy & great atmosphere & simply fun. It is loud and the music is too loud too. Bad sound... system so work on that if you want to play music that loud. Service was excellent & friendly. Food is absolutely delicious & beaware that the portions are HUGE. WORTH EVERY & ALL CALORIES . Outdoors sitting is great but poorly decorated. Highly recommendthis spot. I was highly disappointed of the mac cheese. Had no flavor. Maybe it was just ours. Read more

Come with an appetite! These portions are huge (so maybe also bring a few friends)! The pulled pork sandwich special is amazing.... Spicy chicken sandwich was soo good, but easily enough chicken for 3+ people (no joke). Deviled eggs were insane and over thetop. Pickles are pretty epic too. To be honest, felt pretty wasteful about the amount of food and since it’s so greasy,it’s not like you’d have it boxed up to eat later :/ Trust me, there will be leftovers. Staff is nice, but a little sassybecause of the high volume, so I get it. Fun spot for a friendly gathering. Inside is pretty loud but outside seating hasheaters and less loud. Read more

Everything about this place is amazing. Inside seating was nice n cool and low romantic lighting. Candles in jars everywhere. I... really enjoyed the spicy margarita, it's my fave version yet and it's strong. I had two and was able to take the second in a togo cup. The fried green tomatoes were perfect. The mushroom smothered chicken sandwich was huge. My boyfriend and I split it andstill had left overs. The chicken was juicy and fried crispy. We got a side of collard greens with black eyed peas. Delicious.Every bite was full of flavor and we will definitely be back to try the others. That biscuit bread pudding with ice cream isnext on the list. Read more

The food and drinks here are amazing! The fried chicken is DELICIOUS and their biscuits are so tasty. I highly recommend trying... out their cocktails because they certainly don’t hold back on the alcohol and still manage to make it a tasty drink. Thisplace probably has my favorite cocktail and southern food experience! Read more

My favorite southern spot for a hearty brunch. I don’t think anywhere in nyc can you get food in such big portions. Ordered... the BBQ chicken biscuit, it was heavenly and enough for two. The ambiance is pretty vibrant and though it can get extra loudinside, the tables outside are perfect. You get a glimpse of the music but not enough to interfere with your conversations. Thestaff is efficient and friendly. Will be definitely going back for more biscuits. Read more

I wanted to like this place so bad. Especially seeing as it had raving reviews! If you are someone that like your food very... soggy than this is the place for you. I came with a group of friends and we all kind of decided to try differentthings! Especially me, i ordered the hot chicken biscuit the whole bottom of the biscuit was drenched. Couldn’t even pick itup. I also ordered catfish tacos, the moment i picked up one taco it fell apart because it was so wet, also very flavorless thetoppings were wet and tasteless and when i just decided to try the catfish it was very mushy. I also ordered the midnight Macand that smelled and tasted amazing!! So I’ll give them that! My friends ordered the Turkey legs, the smothered chickenbiscuit, the collard green and black eyed peas, and the regular mac. They all loved the greens and said they would come backjust for that. The chicken was a bit overwhelming but the meat itself was great and they liked the Turkey legs. I willdefinitely try this place again for brunch. Oh and also we got the jam jars which we all enjoyed!! And the biscuit and fixingswas amazing!! The biscuits were crispy on the outside and soft in the middle and the fixings were tasty! We also got the deviledeggs which were okay. The center section was just a tad bit overwhelming also. But not bad! Read more

My personal favorite brunch spot in Manhattan. Every time I come here, it's always filled with glorious gluttony. Portions are... huge so it's a great spot for sharing food, and the drinks pair well with pretty much everything on the menu. The wait times canbe somewhat long, especially during the summer brunch season, but most of the time you get your table quicker than expected, soinstead of popping by another spot further away, stop by Tiki Chick right next door for a fantastic adult beverage and relaxwhile you wait!
