Loved the white meat sesame chicken! It was less breaded than most other restaurants, very flavorful with big juicy pieces. :)... definitely a highlight because I think it must be healthier than most other restaurants. They use different/thinner noodles fortheir lo mein. It thought it was tasty! I ordered beef and it had onions and cabbage. It was giving me Shanghai vibes forsure. Also, lovely staff! We got to conversing and had a nice time here. We ate here to have everything fresh! Would recommendit :) Read more

Had the best Chinese food here! Jimmy was a great host and recommended the soup dumplings, potstickers, 3 pepper chicken and... other sides for lunch. Great quality and authentic flavors- I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in NYC! Read more

An ok noodle house. Nothing to write home about but the prices are reasonable. I ordered noodle soup with fish and pickled... vegetables. The vegetables were 3 baby bok choy and some overcooked pieces of kale or seaweed. The fish was a whole fish butwith very little meat on it. It was $14.00 Read more

I live right around the corner so I tried it 3 times when I first moved in. It's just not good. Food is low quality ingredients... and not prepared well. Not flavorful. Onions and peppers aren't sauteed and are just added in raw. You're much better off goingdown to Chinatown for some good grub. At least it's not horribly expensive. They have a big upcharge on card so bring cash! Read more

The food was amazing, I got the beef cumin. It was so flavorful and the portion size was great.

Ordered shrimp mei fun: taste was good, not too salty, noodles were a little greasy, and onions sliced too thick; portion did... not fill entire white plastic container; seemed more like half an order; shrimps were fresh and good size; probably wouldn’tcome back since the price didn’t match the quality of the food; owner seemed friendly Read more

Decent Chinese American restaurant next to Baruch College. Not sure their trick to get the string beans so tasty but its pretty... crisp and flavorful. Note that if you are a rice junky, they only give you white rice in 12oz coffee cups so you might want toorder an extra. Guilty pleasures satisfied. Read more

This was my first time here yesterday. My friend was coming to move furniture with me in the area and was hungry. On the way to... get the car he asked for food options. I brought him through the area because third avenue and Baruch’s campus is full of foodoptions that are on the more affordable side of things. We weren’t looking to spend much money and come to Jimmy’s Houseand looked at the menu. We figured it would work and ordered some pineapple chicken rice. We then had to leave and weren’table to eat our food for about two hours. It held up well and didn’t make the car smell at all which is always a plus! Theplace itself is good for a quick place to grab food and go or eat there with only a few friends as it’s not a place where youare waited on. I do like the food and options they have so I would come back. Read more
