I tried: Biko: sweet glutinous rice. It was extremely chewy kinda like a mixture of mochi and flan? The ube flavor was subtle... but there. And the best part it wasnt that sweeet. This cafe has plenty of Filipino inspired desserts! The dessert I tried wasunique for me and I would come back here to try other treats!! Read more

I really love how this is not your typical café it also had a touch of sari-sari store feels to it but I had quite high... expectations for this place but was not impressed by their food. We tried their ube taho, but it was expensive ($6) anddisappointingly not tasty. It came in a very small cup, it was a little watery and it lacked flavor. The desert was tastythough. Service was also a bit messy, we got someone?s order which we didn?t mind getting for free after the mess up but that?sclearly disappointing if it had happened the other way around. Read more

Keepin it real out here in Chinatown Kabisera is legendary at this point. Started out with 1 humble spot in LES now expanded to... Canal St market. Staff are all amazing and they never miss when comes to the food. Authentic with some creative twists. Both thehot food and cold drinks are worth trying. Read more

The drinks, the sweets and service is great. They just opened a new location in Canal Street and they have a different selection... of frozen drinks - the ube one is delicious. Staff is friendly and always very nice. We go there almost weekly. Read more

Very much enjoyed the Biko; was my first time trying it. A soft mochi like texture topped heavily with coconut flakes. They... also sell some pantry staples. Was understaffed and busy when I went, so hopefully they can hire some more help. Read more

A nice spot for small bites, drinks and desserts. I had the Ube latte and we tried their famous taho (Ube & Strawberry) as well.... Everything was good and not too sweet, and prices were reasonable. Can?t wait to try the other goodies and drinks! Read more

This place is legit!!! Go in and ask for the ?Emmanuel Combo?, but be prepared. This means that you?re ordering 1 of the... desserts available which is the best way to experience this place. (Full disclosure- I made the ?Emmanuel Combo? up, but pleasedo it. I?m hoping they put it on the menu.) They have a lot of unique items for sale: jewelry, clothing and accessories thathave Filipino design elements and patterns that are beautifully executed. Read more
